The palace to the city of Chen Liu is located in the central plaza of the cities perimeter. Here you can request for an audience with the current prefect. The palace consists of a throne room, a kitchen, an open audience chamber, a council area and an upper landing where rest rooms are located.

"Stop there." Said the guard. He held the spear in front of Tsai Ru. He stopped immediately and stood there for a moment, not moving. "State your business."
"I seek an audience with your lord." One guard quickly dashed off into the audience chamber. Silently, Ru stood there waiting. The crowds of the bustling city behind him echoed into his ears. The gray clouds slowly moved across the sky. After a few minutes, the guard returned and nodded his head.
"You may enter." There stood another guard to escort him through the palace. He entered the small throne room. There Cao Cao was speaking to another man.

Cao Cao sat upon the throne, gently plotting and scheming upon a map laid on the side of the throne with a small brush and some simple ink before the large throne room doors creaked open. His guards presented something of worth to him.
"Ah! Do come in, young master...?"
He questioned. The man obviously had encountered some resistance on the way, Cao Cao wouldn't have it any other way. With his growing power it also grew the fierce way of life. Many assassination attempts would be on their way and it would be wasteful to allow himself to die so easily. He laughed, putting his brush back into a small pot before blowing on the map to dry it quicker and then stepping down from the throne, brushing his robes away from his feet to avoid tripping over.
"What is it you are here for?"
Cao Cao questioned, alliances, trades, offerings, threats.. he was used to the lot by now. He played nicely for a while, unsure of the mans intentions at first. He had plenty of guards around however he doubted the man was here to kill him.. he was a little to young to be of an expert standard yet. Cao Cao would eventually make a man out of him however.

"What is it you are here for?"
Ru thought for a second. He had no real reason to be here. He traveled for a few years and honed his skill with his bow. He trained with his sword and found no satisfaction, no sense of completion. He could have gone to a village, he could have sold pelts or meat. There were a number of things he could have done. Yet here he kneeled.
"I'm here to serve you my lord. I am Tsai Ru." There was no other reason to be here. I have lived outside civilization long enough. Ru kept his head down. He had no experience with royalty and he had no intention to insult such a fierce man. He intended to keep his head. There was little light in the chamber and he found it somewhat intimidating. Cao Cao stood there and stared at him. His strong gaze pierced his heart. I am too young. I should return when I have had more experience in warfare.
"I apologize for disturbing you. I realize now I am not worthy to stand in your presence." Ru stood up and proceeded to walk out the way he entered. Such a man has no need of me.

Cao Cao glared at the man, keeping a fierce eye on him. With such veterans already in his army, youth was needed. He needed a man who could fit the ideal image of the current forces. Younger and younger men were joining, they were fit, strong and youthful. Full of life. Cao Cao already reaching his late thirties. He stroke his beard quicky.
"Stop!"
He demanded, alerting the guards a little before signalling it was no need of distress before strolling to stop the man before he left. He didn't rush, he consider inpatience to be a sin, the man would not leave without him.
"There is no other job i would see a man of you with, you start your training as a soldier tommorow at the barracks. I know it is rushed and you have little time.. however it is unfortunate for you to be born in such times of war.. There is no money in hunting or simple jobs anymore, welcome to the war my friend. Offer me your bow and i'll offer you a life of strength, compassion and glory. Your riches will amass in one pocket whilst the women will gather in the other."
He said convincing the man there was no other way, there was plenty of time for him to the learn the ways of war. If he could prove himself, he would rank up. If not then however he would serve Cao Cao well. It was a win-win situation for Cao Cao and perhaps a win-win situation for the new man.
"All i ask is that you vow your allegiance to me, swear an oath to serve Cao Cao and i shall grant your permission within my army."
Cao Cao was a strict man when it came to discpline. No matter how vast his army was becoming, discipline would be kept. He reminded people he was the leader, whether they overpowered him or outsmarted him, he had created everything they had. He had gathered the people together and it would be him to set the wheels of ambition rolling. He was a grateful man however, he hadn't expected so many new recruits to arrive so quickly.

"I swear to you, my liege, upon my dead father, I am your man. I will follow your orders as the wolf chases the moon. I come here not for glory and riches, but to serve you. If you feel I am worthy, that is what I shall do." Ru found himself on his knee again, swearing allegiance to a man who's fame had reached even his ears. I will learn warfare. I will make use of this opportunity lord Cao Cao has given me. I will prove myself the only way I know how: with my bow. He thought.
Ru stood up and thanked his lord. Tomorrow he would go to the barracks and begin his service under Cao Cao. If time truly was of the essence, he would need to train rigorously. He began to walk out of the palace with a guard following right behind him. The clouds had cleared and he walked out into the bustle of the city. It was time he found a home.

Kumi rode through Chen Liu and towards the Palace. Lots of things were rushing through her head like, Does Cao Cao accept fighting women? Would he punish her for leaving her original post about 6-7 years ago. Then again, she admired Cao Cao's ambition and desperatley needed to serve someone worthy, the inferior bar fights she always seemed to start were getting overly tedious.
As she approached the Palace, she stopped and admired the architecture before moving her leg out of her kimono, because it had moved to cover her right leg. As she moved her Kimono to put her foot in the stirrups, her sword was moved into view.
When she reached the gate, she tied her horse to the place specified and walked forwards. There wasn't anyone close enough to speak to her that she could see, then a guard appared, seemingly out of nowhere. "Hey, You! What are you doing here!?" The Guard shouted at Kumi, startling her. She thought she had done something wrong already and before she spoke her lip started to quiver. The first time she tried to speak, nothing came out, then she cleared her throat. "My name is Kumiko, I'm here seeking an audience with your lord." After she had spoke, Kumi's posture changed and her complexion became brighter like she was beaming with confidence. The guard looked a bit confused at her sudden transformation and so was Kumi. "Okay, you can proceed." Kumi thanked the guard and walked through the castle, she walked down a long corridor and she could see Cao Cao in the distance, her confidence plummeted but she kept walking.

Cao Cao stood admiring his gardens, he was fond of the wildlife and would often tend to his own gardens or allow his slaves to do so. The early spring brought much beauty to his palace, he smiled reaching out and snatching a flower from the tree above him.
"Mi'lord! Kumiko approaches"
A guards voice echoed behind him down on one knee. Cao Cao plastered a smile upon his face. He didn't know the woman personally, infact it was more of a renowned name upon paper all them years ago. A Japanese woman, as beautiful as she was fierce. Cao Cao laughed smiling and turning around to greet the woman. There she was, much like he had imagined her.
Dressed in a kimino, a little shorter then Cao Cao. He smiled. A young and beautiful woman from the lands of Japan. Cao Cao kept close relations with the Japanese, especially their Queen, Himiko.
"Ah, welcome to Chen Liu, Lady Kimiko. How may i assist you today?"
It was a weird thing to see ladies requesting his presence. He wasn't a sexiest man however, everyone was of value.. even women. He would be a fool to underestimate anyone. He doubted she was just here to "talk" clearly she was here for a reason. She had a little history behind her, however Cao Cao wiped the slate clean. Things were moving ever rapidly, if she required a flag and a banner to hold onto whilst they were sucked into the void, Cao Cao was willing to offer her a safety line. Though, she would have to provide loyal services towards him.

As she continued walking she could see him clearer, however, none of it was a surprise, she had seen him many times before in addresses and the likes. It was at this moment when a clearly inappropriate and very womanly thought popped into her head: Do I look Nice? Kumi was slightly disgusted with her brain for doing that at a time like this, she reassured herself with a very clear yes in her head as she approached Cao Cao.
"It is a pleasure to meet you, and be in your presence, Lord Cao Cao." Kumi said then courtseyed. She knew what she had to say next, but she started to worry again. Her lip once again quivered and she began to fidget with her hands, a horrible nervous habit of hers. "Lord Ca--" She started then stopped to clear her throat. "Lord Cao Cao, I have no doubt you know who I am. I caused quite a commotion a few years ago, which I am not ashamed of, which is also why I am here now." She stopped again and as she had been talking, her head had dropped and she was looking at the floor. She re-adjusted her gaze so she was making direct eye contact with Cao Cao. "I'm here because I wish to serve you. And not as a politician as I was supposed to. As an officer." She said then exhaled heavily, in relief.

Cao Cao looked at her firmly, she was truly sorry for the trouble she had caused and was willing to serve him as an officer rather then a politican. He smiled, noticing her struggling. Cao Cao himself was a well-spoken and confident man however he understood pressure and dealing with stress and underconfidence. He laughed as she bowed her head, gently placing the flower into her hair.
"Kumiko, flower of Cao Cao. I hearby proclaim you as an officer of Mengde. From hence forth you will serve me. Is this understood?"
He wasn't a man of showing gratitude often, he didn't welcome people with open arms like Liu Bei and could be considered as a cold and cruel man. People were drawn to him for his power and his strength and ambition. If they wanted a friendly leader they came to the wrong place, Cao Cao knew how to have a drink but this was serious buisness. China wouldn't unify itself.. the times were quickly changing. Cao Cao knew all the help he could get would be good.. a Japanese ambassador could be of high value.
"Your service will not go unchecked however, serve me well and be rewarded well, whether it is money, fame, honour or glory you so desire."
He laughed, inviting her to walk with him a little atleast to the doors. She had some training to do and some people to meet.. afterall she wouldn't be the grand commander of his forces in day. The walls were scattered with delightful stones, Cao Cao was a man of strong value he took pride in his presence, personally and the things around him. If his officers were not dressed correctly he would be outraged.

Kumi was unbelievably nervous now that it was Cao Cao's turn to speak, but she hid it well. If she showed what she was really feeling like she'd probably break down on the floor and cry. She was really grateful that she had been accepted. She was originally affiliated with Cao Cao and now she was actually serving him as an officer, not an aspiring politician. "Yes, Lord Cao Cao, I will serve you with all my heart and soul" She said to Cao Cao's comment. Kumi liked the idea of money, fame and glory. She obviously wasn't going to say that outright, it wasn't like her. She walked with Cao Cao and admired the Palace, the architecture and the placements were all beautiful and just shouted 'I'm rich and powerful.' "I am definatley getting some furniture with attitude" Kumi said to herself.

Zhang He flipped his hair, casting a tiny smile towards the guards who immediately stopped him. 'What brings you to this palace? State your business.' the way they brandished their weapons threateningly made Zhang He laugh, it was high pitched and he rose two fingers pushing the sword from his face. "Such an attitude leaves an ugly mark on people" his smiled grew and he removed his finger from the sword. "I am here as an ally to your Lord Cao Cao and wish to seek an audience with him." he tipped his head, his hair rustling at the movement, gliding down the side of his neck. The guards looked at each other bewildered by the man and yet they allowed him entrance. Zhang He chuckled before continuing on his lips curved in a pleasant smile. Only a look of confidence and his sheer beauty was allowed on his features; Nothing below that.

Cao Cao sat quietly on his throne, writing before a rather peculiar man waltzed inside. Cao Cao almost dropped his things looking at the man, if it was a man. He hadn't quite seen anything like it before. He brushed his face before standing up. Tapping his feet upon the steps, quietly trailing down from the throne to meet the man at the foundations of the room.
"Um.. Welcome to Chen Liu, I am Cao Cao.. governor of these lands. How may i help you?"
He questioned the man looking him up and down, clearly the man dressed well.. however rather an obscure figure. Cao Cao liked that. He laughed, welcoming the man nonetheless. He took pride in his appearance, something Cao Cao valued highly. He never over-estimated or under-estimated a man however. He would have his chance to prove himself eventually.
"You carry yourself with beauty and organisation, a trait to be envied!"
Cao Cao said offering him a drink as the slaves walked in remembering their manners at the guests of their lord, offering several drinks. Alcoholic or not. Cao Cao smiled, quenching his own thirst with some simple tea before awaiting the mans reply.

Zhang He did not laugh as he bowed his head. Yes he was narcissistic, but not an idiot. It would be rude to disrespect such a feared and noble man. Zhang He raised his head just a fraction, believing that eye contact was of utmost importance, especially when you plan on pledging your allegiance with another man. "Lord Cao Cao, I am Zhang He andI have heard of your greatness and the beauty behind your leadership. I am here to pledge my allegiance to you." Yes, Zhang He had heard and had been excited upon hearing the strength behind Cao Cao, no, the beauty in which the man lead had instantly gained Zhang He's respect.
The compliment that was given early had just been met by a compliment just as great and to Zhang He people noticing his beauty was of utmost importance, but now it was his turn to not only prove his beauty through his physical appearance, but through his own strength and intellect in battle. "My claws shall serve no other man and my blood shall shed for no but you." His hand rose to his chest and he dipped his head low. Light dancing in his eyes, if anything he could not wait to show all his dance in battle the last dance his enemies will ever see.

"Zhang He, your loyalty is most welcome within my army. Feel free to eviserate as many of mine enemies as you like."
He laughed, the man was a little odd but he was more loyal then any officer. He smiled welcoming the man, anticipating seeing this man work in battle, clearly his beauty and juxtapositioned dancing and beauty upon the battlefield could be interesting to watch.
"Beauty of the battlefield, you have my favour and my full attention for the upcoming wars. Do not let me down Master He!"
He exclaimed before finishing his drink off and dismissing the young man, allowing him to begin training or to simply relax. Free time would soon be cut off if they were sent to war so to make the most of it would be best for the both of them. Zhang He and Cao Cao would be seeing alot more of eachother soon enough.
