Zhongyuan Troops - Abbreviation (Zhong)
Zhong Militia - 100 for 100 gold
- Trained in the art of warfare. The zhongyuan militia are deemed to be the best standard militia available. They are equipped with maces, short swords and axes.
Zhong Spearmen - 100 for 220 gold
- The Qing province is well known for it's excessive training, making the zhongyuan spearmen the standard bearers of war. They come equipped with lightly padded leather armour and a spear and shield.
Zhong Swordsmen - 100 for 230 gold
- Zhongyuan swordsmen are renown throughout the land as being the standard bearers of the western zhongyuan armies. They come equipped with a sword and a shield and wear lightly padded leather with lamellar padding.
Zhong Scout Cavalry - 100 for 250 gold
- Light and efficient. The zhongyuan scouting parties are equipped with a standard Ji and a horn. They wear little to no armour.
Zhong Cavalry - 100 for 300 gold
- Zhongyuan cavalry are considered to be one of the finest cavalry groups in all of China. They're not superbly trained, though they come equipped with thick lamellar armour and both a Ji and a Jian.
Zhong Bowmen - 100 for 230 gold
- Their range is not as good as the other regions, but they come equipped with light padded leather garments and a small sword. Their range is peaked at 400 metres.
Zhong Crossbowmen - 100 for 240 gold
- Zhongyuan armies tend to choose the crossbow over the bow n arrow, as they provide better range and accuracy. Zhongyuan crossbowmen come equipped with a medium leather armour, a short sword and a crossbow. Their range is peaked at 450 metres.

Heavy Zhongyuan Cavalry - 100 for 400 gold
Requirements - Must control/or be a part of a nation that controls 2 or more provinces within the Zhongyuan region.
- Zhongyuan Cavalry are the born riders of the central plains. They encite war, pillage and destruction wherever they go. They're equipped with full body plated lamellar armour and a Qiang and shield and a jian.
Qing Spearmen - 100 for 320 gold
Requirements: Must control/or be in the nation that controls the Qing province.
- Qing spearmen are selected through the daily pratises of the Qing training grounds. It is estimated that every one in ten is selected to join this unit, who weild their Qiang's with superb skill and who can hold off the greatest of charges with relative ease. They're equipped with thick lamellar padded armour and come with a qiang and shield.
Zhong Daomen - 100 for 360 gold
Requirements: The emperor must reside in the central plains for these troops to be assessible.
- Zhong Daomen are the elite guard of the emperor. They are well trained in the martial arts and weild their weapons with skill. They are equipped with very thick and very heavy plated lamellar armour and weild long 2 hander swords which curve towards the end.
He Bei Troops - Abbreviation (Bei)
Bei Militia - 150 for 100 gold
- He Bei militia may be numerous, but they lack the discipline present in other regions. They come equipped with basic cloth garments and wield a mixture of swords and spears.
Bei Spearmen - 150 for 240
- Although well trained. He Bei spearmen lack the equipment of the southern regional infantry. Instead they rely on their sheer numbers and their keen sense of duty. He Bei spearmen come equipped with light leather armour and a basic spear.
Bei Swordsmen - 100 for 250
- He Bei swordsmen are among the finest swordsmen in the country. They wield a jian sword, a short sword and they're equipped with a medium padded lamellar styled armour.
Bei Scout Cavalry - 100 for 215 gold
- Being among the northern regions. The He Bei troops quickly adapted to fast tracking and spotting. They're equipped with light armour and a basic sword and horn. They are the fastest moving cavalry group in the country.
Bei Cavalry - 100 for 275 gold
- Although renown for their speed. The He Bei cavalry are not as heavily armoured as the cavalry located in other regions. Still, they come equipped with a series of axes, swords and a spear. They also wear medium padded lamellar armour.
Bei Axemen - 100 for 300 gold
- fast, lightly armoured and dangerous. These axemen wield a shield and a large one handed axe. They specialize in destroying shield formations and assaulting at random intervals. They wear with lightly padded lamellar armour.
Bei Bowmen - 100 for 240 gold
- Well trained. He Bei bowmen wear medium to heavy padded lamellar armour and carry with them their bow n arrows, a small dagger and a short sword. They are also well trained, giving them a maximum range of 420 metres.
Bei Crossbowmen - 100 for 200 gold
- In He Bei their infantry face crossbows with bows. The reason for this has never truly been understood, but the tradition has never faltered. Their poorly trained crossbowmen are equipped with light lamellar padding and carry with them a crossbow and a short sword. Their maximum range is 400 metres.

Wu Han Mountain Cavalry - 100 for 380 gold
Requirements: There must be a task specifying the bond/relations between the playable kingdom and the tribe.
- Wu Han Mountain Cavalry offer the fastest, and most aggressive cavalry force in the entire country. They're lightly armoured but they carry with them a variety of spears and shields. Like the name they adopt - they're well suited for mountainous terrains and valleys.
Xianbei Cavalry - 100 for 430 gold
Requirements: You must control/or be a part of a nation that controls the entire You province for these troops to be available.
- Xianbei Cavalry are both skillful and well armoured. They ride fast horses of the northern territories and they come equipped with medium plated armour, a Ji and a dao curved sword. They are very fast, very aggressive and can break some of the best defenses imaginable.
Heavy He Bei Swordsmen - 100 for 350 gold
Requirements: The player must control/or be a part of a nation that controls the entire Ji province for these troops to be purchased.
- He Bei swordsmen are heavily armoured and are considered to be the more noble warriors of the northern provinces. They come equipped with a heavy lamellar, a strong shield and a Jian sword.
Jiang Dong Troops - Abbreviation (Jiang)
Jiang Militia - 100 for 100 gold
- Well trained. They come equipped with shirt clothes and a variety of good swords and spears. It is suggested that every 1 in 10 soldier is equipped with some form of padded leather armour.
Jiang Spearmen - 100 for 200 gold
- Lightly armoured. These spearmen come with the basic equipment suitable for a spearmen, they wear light leather padded armour and wield a short spear. They are not highly trained.
Jiang Swordsmen - 100 for 240 gold
- Fast and aggressive. The Jiang region produces the more aggressive infantry unit. Their swordsmen come equipped with both lamellar and leather padded armour and they carry with them a variety of dao curved swords.
Jiang Scout Cavalry - 100 for 220 gold
- Out of all of the regions, the scout cavalry trained in Jiang Dong seem to be the slowest and the weakest in terms of fighting ability. Their usage is however emphasized by the multiple horns they carry, suggesting that they have an excellent communication system among their ranks.

Jiang Cavalry - 100 for 300 gold
- The region of Jiang Dong has never been one for fun and games. As children people would learn to hunt, to kill and to feed. The Jiang Dong cavalry reflect that same cycle, they wield spears and bow and arrows and they ride down their prey like animals. They are equipped with very light armour and their short hunting bows have a maximum reach of 200 metres.
Jiang Axemen - 100 for 250 gold
- Fast and aggressive, the axemen of the Jiang Dong region are renown for their light garments and their lightning fast attacks. They wield a variety of 1 to 2 handed axes and usually charge head first as shock troopers. They're very powerful units. They're equipped with a partial covering of lamellar, lots of their skin however is visible to the eye, as it is supposed to represent power and courage.
Jiang Bowmen - 100 for 225 gold
- Jiang bowmen are efficient archers having trained in the arts of hunting as a traditional sub-culture. They come equipped with longer sized bows with a range of 450 metres, a short sword and they wear a mixture of leather and lamellar padded armour.
Jiang Crossbowmen - 100 for 200 gold
- Slow but dangerous. The jiang crossbow may suffer from range, but it makes up for that in sheer power. The Jiang crossbow is a heavily adapted version of the northern crossbow, having a range of only 400 metres. Jiang Crossbowmen come equipped with a short sword and some lightly padded armour.

Pirates - 100 for 360 gold
Requirements: You, or the nation you are apart of must control at least 2 cities within the Yang Province for these troops to be purchased.
- Fast and incredibly aggressive. The notorious pirates of the Jiang Dong region are to be feared with good reason. They wear a multitude of different armour groups, some wear no armour whilst others wear the spoils of war like a treasury. They wield a variety of short and long swords and are very effective at shattering formations with their brutal assaults.
Shanyue Axemen - 100 for 400 gold
Requirements: You must control, or be a part of a nation that controls 2 cities within the Yang province. There must also be a task regarding the friendship and bond made between that said faction and the Shanyue tribespeople.
- From the fertile lands of the far south come the Shanyue Axemen, clad in thick nomadic themed armours and carrying with them huge battle axes fit for a giants hand. They are by far the strongest of the many southern tribes, making them fearless predators that cut through discipline and formations as if they were merely insects in their path. The Shanyue are not good at unity or formations and prefer to just openly charge and kill.
Heavy Jiang Dong Bowmen - 100 for 380 gold
Requirements: You, or the nation you're affiliated with must control cities within both Huai Nan and Yang for these troops to be purchased.
- The Jiang bowmen are the elite of the elite. They carry thick war bows with amazing accuracy and they wear very thick, lamellar armour. They are the guards of the seas and of the Jiang rivers and they have sent many a ship to the depths of the sea below. Their maximum range is 475 metres.
Chu Troops - Abbreviation (Chu)
Chu Militia - 100 for 110 gold
- the Jing region has been left unscathed by the troubles of the north, and this is clearly seen in the training and discipline displayed in even their lowest of ranks. The Jing milita wear lightly padded armour and carry a sword and a shield. They are the best standard militia group in the country.
Chu Spearmen - 100 for 250 gold
- Strong and agile. The Jing spearmen make good use of both qiang and ji interventions and have started using both weapons in their general formations. They're equipped with medium padded lamellar armour and a spare short sword that they strap around their waist. They are well trained.
Chu Swordsmen - 100 for 250 gold
- Like the Jing spearmen, the swordsmen make good use of a variety of different sword styles, ranging from big to small. They are equipped with lightly padded armour with metal lamellar buckles and they also carry a small shield.
Chu Halberdiers - 100 for 260 gold
- The jewel of the Jing province was with their mass usage of the halberdier unit. They are well trained and are designed to fight in close groups. They are equipped with a heavy lamellar suit of armour and carry with them a small sword for close quarters.
Chu Cavalry - 100 for 280 gold
- Noble, strong and very well protected. These powerful warriors come equipped with a long sword and some heavy plated lamellar armour. They are well trained and are good at breaking standard formations. Their lamellar armour offers good resistance to arrow fire.
Chu Bowmen - 100 for 210 gold
- Although the Jing region field many archer classes, they always paid more attention to the use of the crossbow. As a result, their poorly equipped bowmen never excelled in warfare. They wield bows and small daggers for close quarters and they have a maximum range of 400 metres.
Chu Crossbowmen - 100 for 300 gold
- If not the best standard crossbow unit in the country, then the Jing crossbowmen are certainly high in the list. They are well trained, well disciplined and they wear very thick, plated lamellar armour. They also carry a sword with their crossbows for close quarters.

Elite Jing Messengers - 100 for 300 gold
Requirements: You, or the nation you're affiliated with must control 2 or more cities within the Jing Region for these troops to be purchased.
- Though Jing have never been in need of quick, scouting cavalry - they have been in need of quick and efficient soldiers. As a result, the Jing trained a sect of soldiers in the arts of stealth and warfare, classifying them as honourable or elite messengers of Jing. In practice, they're more like assassins. They are incredibly talented at hand to hand fighting and they wield a variety of weapons from swords to sickles, however - they wear very light padded armour to keep them quick on their feet.
Miao Halberdiers - 100 for 400 gold
Requirements: You, or a faction you're affiliated with much control the Jing Bei province for these troops to be purchased.
- The famed Miao Halberderies come from an ancient line of warriors, learning the art of the halberd/ji from an early age. They're the heavy imperial elite soldiers of Jing and come equipped with plated elite lamelar armour, a shield, a Ji and a jian sword. They are a force to be feared when used in proper formations.
Heavy Jing Crossbowmen - 100 for 350 gold
Requirements: You, or a faction you're affiliated with must control half of the Jing Nan province for these troops to be purchased.
- Heavily armoured and well trained. The Jing crossbowmen have the best accuracy, power and range in the entire country. Their crossbows have a range of 500 metres and they are also equipped with fine jian swords and shields.
Ba Shu Troops - Abbreviation (Shu)
Shu Militia - 200 for 100 gold
- Although they come in great numbers. Shu militia are not known to hold formations well. They are trained only the very basics of warfare and carry with them a variety of weapons, including swords, axes and spears. They wear no padded armour.
Shu Spearmen - 150 for 225 gold
- Like their militia counter part. Shu spearmen are known more as buffer unit then a unit of any exceptional skill. They wear lightly padded leather armour and they carry a small spear and a shield.
Shu Swordsmen - 150 for 235 gold
- Shu swordsmen build up the fore of the Shu armies. They are well trained in the arts of warfare and come equipped with medium padded lamellar armour and wield with them a variety of swords, some small and some large. 1 in every 5 carry dual swords.
Shu Scout Cavalry - 100 for 220 gold
- Fast and agile. The Shu scout cavalry are suited for long treks across mountainous and rigid terrain. They wear no padded armour and carry with them only a short sword.

- Another fast yet protective unit. The Shu cavalry are designed for long marches, making them fats in terms of their overall speed but slow in terms of short aggressive assaults. They are well trained and are equipped with medium padded lamellar and a Ji.

- Unlike the aggressive Shu swordsmen, the axemen of the Shu armies take the role of a defensive unit. They are well trained and come equipped with large shields and axes. They also carry a small dagger with them for close quarters.

- Shu archers have always been a force to be reckoned with. They usually build up at least 30% of regional Shu armies and have amazing rate of fire and accuracy. Their maximum range is 410 metres and they're equipped with medium padded armour and a small sword for close quarter combat.

- Slow, powerful and aggressive. The Shu crossbowmen developed and designed various styles of crossbow, making them the standard bearers for any Shu military expedition. Although they are not as fast or accurate as the famous Shu bowmen, they are known to shatter formations and reign hell upon their enemies. They come equipped with heavy lamellar armour, a crossbow and a long jian sword.

Nanman Warriors - 100 for 320 gold
Requirements: You, or the nation you're affiliated with must have taken 1 city within the Nan Zhong province whilst maintaining a good relationship with the nanman people via an rp post.
- The feared Nanman soldiers of the south. They wear very little hard armour - but what they do wear, which is called Rattan is very good for soaking up and absorbing the impact of arrows and bolts. Making them a perfect unit to disarm and kill archery based units. That being said, they cannot deflect bolts at close range. The Rattan Warriors are also equipped with long swords and scimitars.
Nanman Elephants - 40 for 500 gold
Requirements: You, or the force you're affiliated with must control all of the Nan Zhong province whilst maintaining a good relationship with the Nanman people.
Big. Bulky and incredibly dangerous. These massive Elephant unit can tear through all sorts of formations. Each elephant is equipped with a small cart like box on the top of the elephant, where 2 archers stand with the rider. Nanman elephants are also adorned with spikes that are attached to the elephant with the use of belts and buckles. They deliver a whole world of pain to whoever they crush. That being said, elephants do have a natural weakness...
Zhuge Numen - 100 for 340 gold
Requirements: You or the force you're affiliated with must control 3 cities from the Yi province for these troops to be purchased. 1 of the 3 cities must be Cheng Du.
- Zhuge Numen are the Chu ke Nu of the three kingdoms era. They operate in mass formations and use the newly adapted version of the Zhuge Nu to unleash a reign of bolts into their enemies. The chu ke nu, as an invention is a repeating crossbow, sadly however - the bolts are not very powerful and the weapons are dipped in a variety of poisons to make them effective when dealing with heavier armoured units.
Wu Wei Troops - Abbreviation (Wu)
Wu Militia - 100 for 180 gold
Fierce militia men from the northern lands equipped with assorted weapons, usually blunt weapons and shields. They wear thick animal skins or pillaged armours which makes them strongly defensive however they are very slow however they do pack a punch offensively due to their harsh homeland.
Wu Spearmen – 100 for 250 gold
Powerful and well disciplined spearmen from Wu Wei, the backbone of most armies. They possess little armour however they are fast and versatile group making them perfect for guerrilla warfare or quickly sprung ambushes. They are equipped with a single pronged spear, a small sword and some light leather armour.
Wu Swordsmen – 100 for 220 gold
The swordsmen of Wu Wei are nothing amazing, however they have a strong sense of teamwork and you will often see several of the swordsmen groups working together or assisting each other on the battlefield. They are equipped with a single broadsword and well made padded armour.
Wu Scout Cavalry – 100 for 180 gold
Amongst the best scouts in all of China, the scout Calvary is fast, well trained and able to produce excellent results in reporting as well as being a major help to delivering messages or even carry out special tasks. They cost a lot due to their well trained horses however they aren't equipped with a weapon of any use and would be slaughtered by most units. They carry only small short swords.
Wu Cavalry - 150 for 300 gold
Armoured and prepared for combat upon their well trained horses, the Calvary of Wu Wei is a force to be feared. They lack offensive ability due to their speed however they are a very strong trampling unit and can be used effectively by sweeping the battle upon their iron steeds. They are equipped with spears, a small short sword and they wear a variety of medium to heavy padded lamellar.
Wu Bowmen – 100 for 250 gold
Highly effective at a ranged, highly trained archers well known for their volleys and ability to launch huge long range attacks, bring them down from a long distance. They are equipped with strong long bows and several quivers of arrows as well as a very light padded armour. Their maximum range is 400 metres.
Wu Crossbowmen - 100 for 210 gold
Crossbows being the least preferred of ranged weapons, the crossbowmen of Wu Wei are untrained, however they are well equipped with a high standard of equipment. Strong armour, well crafted bolts and crossbows. They are very slow moving but very powerful in small groups. Their maximum range is 420 metres

Requirements: You, or the force you're affiliated with must control the Liang province for these troops to be purchased. You must also set up relations with the Qiang people via an RP post.
- The northern Qiang people are brilliant horse riders, brilliant breeders and most of all - brilliant warriors. They ride fast horses, designed for the mountains of the Wu Wei region and they come equipped with a variety of spears and throwing spears. They are fast, powerful and they're adorned by light to medium plated lamellar armour.
Qiang Guard - 100 for 390 gold
Requirements: You, or the nation you're affiliated with must control both the Liang and the You province for these troops to be purchased.
- The Qiang Guard are the most fierce lancers in all of China. They are heavily adorned in thick, plated lamellar armour and each warrior carries both a lance and a large scimitar. They're average in speed - but they make up for that with their sheer power and charge ability.
Wu Wei Horse Archers - 100 for 360 gold
Requirements: You, or the faction you're affiliated with must control the Wu Wei region and have established a good trade, or relationship with the Qiang people.
- Lightly armoured but incredibly fast. These Wu Wei horse archers bring the word 'fear' to all who hear their galloping hooves. Their riders carry with them spears and bow and arrows. They wear little to no armour, allowing their incredibly fast pace be their defence. They are expert horse archers. Their maximum range is 350 metres.
Addendum: Abbreviations have been added to make it easier on members of staff to know which regional 'selection' you have within your army. You may abbreviate the tag before the name to a 2 letter word, so long as it is easy for a member of staff to recognise the region those troops are assigned too. Example include ZY for Zhongyuan, HB for He Bei, J for Jing, JD for Jiang Dong, C for Chu and WW for Wu Wei.

Heavy He Bei Swordsmen - 100 for 350 gold
Requirements: The player must control/or be a part of a nation that controls the entire Ji province for these troops to be purchased.
- He Bei swordsmen are heavily armoured and are considered to be the more noble warriors of the northern provinces. They come equipped with a heavy lamellar, a strong shield and a Jian sword.
Jiang Dong Troops - Abbreviation (Jiang)
Jiang Militia - 100 for 100 gold
- Well trained. They come equipped with shirt clothes and a variety of good swords and spears. It is suggested that every 1 in 10 soldier is equipped with some form of padded leather armour.
Jiang Spearmen - 100 for 200 gold
- Lightly armoured. These spearmen come with the basic equipment suitable for a spearmen, they wear light leather padded armour and wield a short spear. They are not highly trained.
Jiang Swordsmen - 100 for 240 gold
- Fast and aggressive. The Jiang region produces the more aggressive infantry unit. Their swordsmen come equipped with both lamellar and leather padded armour and they carry with them a variety of dao curved swords.
Jiang Scout Cavalry - 100 for 220 gold
- Out of all of the regions, the scout cavalry trained in Jiang Dong seem to be the slowest and the weakest in terms of fighting ability. Their usage is however emphasized by the multiple horns they carry, suggesting that they have an excellent communication system among their ranks.

Jiang Cavalry - 100 for 300 gold
- The region of Jiang Dong has never been one for fun and games. As children people would learn to hunt, to kill and to feed. The Jiang Dong cavalry reflect that same cycle, they wield spears and bow and arrows and they ride down their prey like animals. They are equipped with very light armour and their short hunting bows have a maximum reach of 200 metres.
Jiang Axemen - 100 for 250 gold
- Fast and aggressive, the axemen of the Jiang Dong region are renown for their light garments and their lightning fast attacks. They wield a variety of 1 to 2 handed axes and usually charge head first as shock troopers. They're very powerful units. They're equipped with a partial covering of lamellar, lots of their skin however is visible to the eye, as it is supposed to represent power and courage.
Jiang Bowmen - 100 for 225 gold
- Jiang bowmen are efficient archers having trained in the arts of hunting as a traditional sub-culture. They come equipped with longer sized bows with a range of 450 metres, a short sword and they wear a mixture of leather and lamellar padded armour.
Jiang Crossbowmen - 100 for 200 gold
- Slow but dangerous. The jiang crossbow may suffer from range, but it makes up for that in sheer power. The Jiang crossbow is a heavily adapted version of the northern crossbow, having a range of only 400 metres. Jiang Crossbowmen come equipped with a short sword and some lightly padded armour.

Pirates - 100 for 360 gold
Requirements: You, or the nation you are apart of must control at least 2 cities within the Yang Province for these troops to be purchased.
- Fast and incredibly aggressive. The notorious pirates of the Jiang Dong region are to be feared with good reason. They wear a multitude of different armour groups, some wear no armour whilst others wear the spoils of war like a treasury. They wield a variety of short and long swords and are very effective at shattering formations with their brutal assaults.
Shanyue Axemen - 100 for 400 gold
Requirements: You must control, or be a part of a nation that controls 2 cities within the Yang province. There must also be a task regarding the friendship and bond made between that said faction and the Shanyue tribespeople.
- From the fertile lands of the far south come the Shanyue Axemen, clad in thick nomadic themed armours and carrying with them huge battle axes fit for a giants hand. They are by far the strongest of the many southern tribes, making them fearless predators that cut through discipline and formations as if they were merely insects in their path. The Shanyue are not good at unity or formations and prefer to just openly charge and kill.
Heavy Jiang Dong Bowmen - 100 for 380 gold
Requirements: You, or the nation you're affiliated with must control cities within both Huai Nan and Yang for these troops to be purchased.
- The Jiang bowmen are the elite of the elite. They carry thick war bows with amazing accuracy and they wear very thick, lamellar armour. They are the guards of the seas and of the Jiang rivers and they have sent many a ship to the depths of the sea below. Their maximum range is 475 metres.
Chu Troops - Abbreviation (Chu)
Chu Militia - 100 for 110 gold
- the Jing region has been left unscathed by the troubles of the north, and this is clearly seen in the training and discipline displayed in even their lowest of ranks. The Jing milita wear lightly padded armour and carry a sword and a shield. They are the best standard militia group in the country.
Chu Spearmen - 100 for 250 gold
- Strong and agile. The Jing spearmen make good use of both qiang and ji interventions and have started using both weapons in their general formations. They're equipped with medium padded lamellar armour and a spare short sword that they strap around their waist. They are well trained.
Chu Swordsmen - 100 for 250 gold
- Like the Jing spearmen, the swordsmen make good use of a variety of different sword styles, ranging from big to small. They are equipped with lightly padded armour with metal lamellar buckles and they also carry a small shield.
Chu Halberdiers - 100 for 260 gold
- The jewel of the Jing province was with their mass usage of the halberdier unit. They are well trained and are designed to fight in close groups. They are equipped with a heavy lamellar suit of armour and carry with them a small sword for close quarters.
Chu Cavalry - 100 for 280 gold
- Noble, strong and very well protected. These powerful warriors come equipped with a long sword and some heavy plated lamellar armour. They are well trained and are good at breaking standard formations. Their lamellar armour offers good resistance to arrow fire.
Chu Bowmen - 100 for 210 gold
- Although the Jing region field many archer classes, they always paid more attention to the use of the crossbow. As a result, their poorly equipped bowmen never excelled in warfare. They wield bows and small daggers for close quarters and they have a maximum range of 400 metres.
Chu Crossbowmen - 100 for 300 gold
- If not the best standard crossbow unit in the country, then the Jing crossbowmen are certainly high in the list. They are well trained, well disciplined and they wear very thick, plated lamellar armour. They also carry a sword with their crossbows for close quarters.

Elite Jing Messengers - 100 for 300 gold
Requirements: You, or the nation you're affiliated with must control 2 or more cities within the Jing Region for these troops to be purchased.
- Though Jing have never been in need of quick, scouting cavalry - they have been in need of quick and efficient soldiers. As a result, the Jing trained a sect of soldiers in the arts of stealth and warfare, classifying them as honourable or elite messengers of Jing. In practice, they're more like assassins. They are incredibly talented at hand to hand fighting and they wield a variety of weapons from swords to sickles, however - they wear very light padded armour to keep them quick on their feet.
Miao Halberdiers - 100 for 400 gold
Requirements: You, or a faction you're affiliated with much control the Jing Bei province for these troops to be purchased.
- The famed Miao Halberderies come from an ancient line of warriors, learning the art of the halberd/ji from an early age. They're the heavy imperial elite soldiers of Jing and come equipped with plated elite lamelar armour, a shield, a Ji and a jian sword. They are a force to be feared when used in proper formations.
Heavy Jing Crossbowmen - 100 for 350 gold
Requirements: You, or a faction you're affiliated with must control half of the Jing Nan province for these troops to be purchased.
- Heavily armoured and well trained. The Jing crossbowmen have the best accuracy, power and range in the entire country. Their crossbows have a range of 500 metres and they are also equipped with fine jian swords and shields.
Ba Shu Troops - Abbreviation (Shu)
Shu Militia - 200 for 100 gold
- Although they come in great numbers. Shu militia are not known to hold formations well. They are trained only the very basics of warfare and carry with them a variety of weapons, including swords, axes and spears. They wear no padded armour.
Shu Spearmen - 150 for 225 gold
- Like their militia counter part. Shu spearmen are known more as buffer unit then a unit of any exceptional skill. They wear lightly padded leather armour and they carry a small spear and a shield.
Shu Swordsmen - 150 for 235 gold
- Shu swordsmen build up the fore of the Shu armies. They are well trained in the arts of warfare and come equipped with medium padded lamellar armour and wield with them a variety of swords, some small and some large. 1 in every 5 carry dual swords.
Shu Scout Cavalry - 100 for 220 gold
- Fast and agile. The Shu scout cavalry are suited for long treks across mountainous and rigid terrain. They wear no padded armour and carry with them only a short sword.
Shu Cavalry - 100 for 280 gold
- Another fast yet protective unit. The Shu cavalry are designed for long marches, making them fats in terms of their overall speed but slow in terms of short aggressive assaults. They are well trained and are equipped with medium padded lamellar and a Ji.
Shu Axemen - 100 for 240 gold
- Unlike the aggressive Shu swordsmen, the axemen of the Shu armies take the role of a defensive unit. They are well trained and come equipped with large shields and axes. They also carry a small dagger with them for close quarters.
Shu Bowmen - 100 for 275 gold
- Shu archers have always been a force to be reckoned with. They usually build up at least 30% of regional Shu armies and have amazing rate of fire and accuracy. Their maximum range is 410 metres and they're equipped with medium padded armour and a small sword for close quarter combat.
Shu Crossbowmen - 100 for 235 gold
- Slow, powerful and aggressive. The Shu crossbowmen developed and designed various styles of crossbow, making them the standard bearers for any Shu military expedition. Although they are not as fast or accurate as the famous Shu bowmen, they are known to shatter formations and reign hell upon their enemies. They come equipped with heavy lamellar armour, a crossbow and a long jian sword.

Nanman Warriors - 100 for 320 gold
Requirements: You, or the nation you're affiliated with must have taken 1 city within the Nan Zhong province whilst maintaining a good relationship with the nanman people via an rp post.
- The feared Nanman soldiers of the south. They wear very little hard armour - but what they do wear, which is called Rattan is very good for soaking up and absorbing the impact of arrows and bolts. Making them a perfect unit to disarm and kill archery based units. That being said, they cannot deflect bolts at close range. The Rattan Warriors are also equipped with long swords and scimitars.
Nanman Elephants - 40 for 500 gold
Requirements: You, or the force you're affiliated with must control all of the Nan Zhong province whilst maintaining a good relationship with the Nanman people.
Big. Bulky and incredibly dangerous. These massive Elephant unit can tear through all sorts of formations. Each elephant is equipped with a small cart like box on the top of the elephant, where 2 archers stand with the rider. Nanman elephants are also adorned with spikes that are attached to the elephant with the use of belts and buckles. They deliver a whole world of pain to whoever they crush. That being said, elephants do have a natural weakness...
Zhuge Numen - 100 for 340 gold
Requirements: You or the force you're affiliated with must control 3 cities from the Yi province for these troops to be purchased. 1 of the 3 cities must be Cheng Du.
- Zhuge Numen are the Chu ke Nu of the three kingdoms era. They operate in mass formations and use the newly adapted version of the Zhuge Nu to unleash a reign of bolts into their enemies. The chu ke nu, as an invention is a repeating crossbow, sadly however - the bolts are not very powerful and the weapons are dipped in a variety of poisons to make them effective when dealing with heavier armoured units.
Wu Wei Troops - Abbreviation (Wu)
Wu Militia - 100 for 180 gold
Fierce militia men from the northern lands equipped with assorted weapons, usually blunt weapons and shields. They wear thick animal skins or pillaged armours which makes them strongly defensive however they are very slow however they do pack a punch offensively due to their harsh homeland.
Wu Spearmen – 100 for 250 gold
Powerful and well disciplined spearmen from Wu Wei, the backbone of most armies. They possess little armour however they are fast and versatile group making them perfect for guerrilla warfare or quickly sprung ambushes. They are equipped with a single pronged spear, a small sword and some light leather armour.
Wu Swordsmen – 100 for 220 gold
The swordsmen of Wu Wei are nothing amazing, however they have a strong sense of teamwork and you will often see several of the swordsmen groups working together or assisting each other on the battlefield. They are equipped with a single broadsword and well made padded armour.
Wu Scout Cavalry – 100 for 180 gold
Amongst the best scouts in all of China, the scout Calvary is fast, well trained and able to produce excellent results in reporting as well as being a major help to delivering messages or even carry out special tasks. They cost a lot due to their well trained horses however they aren't equipped with a weapon of any use and would be slaughtered by most units. They carry only small short swords.
Wu Cavalry - 150 for 300 gold
Armoured and prepared for combat upon their well trained horses, the Calvary of Wu Wei is a force to be feared. They lack offensive ability due to their speed however they are a very strong trampling unit and can be used effectively by sweeping the battle upon their iron steeds. They are equipped with spears, a small short sword and they wear a variety of medium to heavy padded lamellar.
Wu Bowmen – 100 for 250 gold
Highly effective at a ranged, highly trained archers well known for their volleys and ability to launch huge long range attacks, bring them down from a long distance. They are equipped with strong long bows and several quivers of arrows as well as a very light padded armour. Their maximum range is 400 metres.
Wu Crossbowmen - 100 for 210 gold
Crossbows being the least preferred of ranged weapons, the crossbowmen of Wu Wei are untrained, however they are well equipped with a high standard of equipment. Strong armour, well crafted bolts and crossbows. They are very slow moving but very powerful in small groups. Their maximum range is 420 metres

Qiang Cavalry - 100 for 320 gold
Requirements: You, or the force you're affiliated with must control the Liang province for these troops to be purchased. You must also set up relations with the Qiang people via an RP post.
- The northern Qiang people are brilliant horse riders, brilliant breeders and most of all - brilliant warriors. They ride fast horses, designed for the mountains of the Wu Wei region and they come equipped with a variety of spears and throwing spears. They are fast, powerful and they're adorned by light to medium plated lamellar armour.
Qiang Guard - 100 for 390 gold
Requirements: You, or the nation you're affiliated with must control both the Liang and the You province for these troops to be purchased.
- The Qiang Guard are the most fierce lancers in all of China. They are heavily adorned in thick, plated lamellar armour and each warrior carries both a lance and a large scimitar. They're average in speed - but they make up for that with their sheer power and charge ability.
Wu Wei Horse Archers - 100 for 360 gold
Requirements: You, or the faction you're affiliated with must control the Wu Wei region and have established a good trade, or relationship with the Qiang people.
- Lightly armoured but incredibly fast. These Wu Wei horse archers bring the word 'fear' to all who hear their galloping hooves. Their riders carry with them spears and bow and arrows. They wear little to no armour, allowing their incredibly fast pace be their defence. They are expert horse archers. Their maximum range is 350 metres.
Addendum: Abbreviations have been added to make it easier on members of staff to know which regional 'selection' you have within your army. You may abbreviate the tag before the name to a 2 letter word, so long as it is easy for a member of staff to recognise the region those troops are assigned too. Example include ZY for Zhongyuan, HB for He Bei, J for Jing, JD for Jiang Dong, C for Chu and WW for Wu Wei.
