The Queen thought upon the plan, it would dely any action on behalf of the Nanman; word of a battle against the ruling party would be one to place adrenaline within the ranks. Glancing to Meng, then back to the visitors..Zhurong knew the correct path, it would be a simple word to push the wheels in motion. "Fine, you have the help of the Nanman." It seemed to perk up Meng as he heard the agreement of a skirmish, a joint one at that; one he had not taken part in before..also, it would allow the Nanman to know them, the way they fought and the tactics they would use; just incase they were forced to rise up against them.
"Once Jianning is in your control, then I will oversee the administration aswell; if I am blocked from this..then you better prepare for your anatomy to be my trophy." Zhurong would not allow this to be forgotten, that they gained an even share of this conflict and all Nanman treated as they should; they had built this region and they were not willing to simply hand it over to outsiders..

Yan Yan was delighted that an agreement could be made with the Nanman, they are notoriously powerful warriors, and are large in number. Their help will be invaluable to the siege of Jian Ning.
”No longer shall Jian Ning be ruled by the inconsiderate flock that currently holds the city! The Nanman shall have freedom to live as they will without prejudice to their customs commonplace… Yan Yan was not simply telling them what they wanted to hear, he was sympathetic towards these people. Though at the same time, the important outcome for this battle was nothing to do with them as far as Yan Yan was concerned. He was simply following his orders, for it was his duty to Lord Liu Yan that came above anything.”How quickly can you prepare your warriors for battle?”
He could sense the excitement within the cabin, it was clear that the Nanman people had not been involved in a real battle for a long time, with the enthusiasm for battle clear in both the King and Queen's face. Yan Yan was no different, he had not been involved in true combat for a number of years, though his training certainly kept him in more than good shape.
The stage was set, and the performers ready…
