Chang'anFrom within the officials rushed around, the messengers successful and the arrivals iminent; yet, they did not know who to expect. Ministers fell to their knees in desperation for their Emperor's safety, for this day would never have been foreseen; that the intoxicated Regent General to turn upon not only a comrade..but use rage to the extreme, surely the Emperor would not come under harm by his hand? Chamber doors burst with a crash, two Generals who had been within the shadows in the Palace finally came to the off; hearts beating and tempers groomed, ready for the kill. "Ready the men, we shall leave now for the rescue!" The roaring voice of Zhang Ji, who had recently became quite fond of the favour given to him by Li Jue.. Beside him, Fan Chou, only hoping that the fool Lu Bu would show up within this coalition they had been informed of; to turn against ones Liege was disgraceful and something he would pay for today. "The men are prepared, stationed outside the city awaiting you as Regent General ordered." Coiling the officials took flight of the Palace grounds into the Palace itself, locking the front doors so that they could protect the Imperial Palace; while guarding their lives from any danger that could befall on the city.. "Men! We march to save our Son of Heaven, Regent General has gone ahead without thinking of his own safety; out of devotion he rides..as do we!!" The whip was gestured and cracked, horses bolted from the city gates..no one had ever seen such a sight before, believing that perhaps Chang'an was at 'peace' for some time. Populace in chaos, concerned of what was happening and fearing the rumours to be true; all they knew to be true?..that Li Jue had left the city in a state of intoxication, after his comrade Generale Guo Si who had apparently turned upon him. Some wished to cheer the words of Li Jue's possible demise, yet it was too premature; for what if others heard and the Regent General returned with a success?! Zhang Ji took the vanguard, the Imperial Army was split into two factions; one under Zhang and the other taking the rear lead by Fan Chou. They both hoped the Generals of old would come from hiding and aid their comrade-in-arms against the coalition, who they continued to spout had 'kidnapped' the Emperor! Hearts beating, drums rolling and gongs banged; further and further they rushed to the Regent General's aid..the wine would make him vulnerable and he had only taken his personal army with him, a mere 2000 against..against..know one knew! Neither Generals knew of the Allied size, nor did they have knowledge who was within the Coalition ranks; apart from the lead, Cao Cao. "That coalition! They haven't learnt!" Laughter circulated the two as they continued their advance. "It fell apart before Dong Zhuo's might, now it shall collapse again under the power of the Imperial House!!" The men shreeked in agreement, Fan Chou bellowed and thrusted his halberd into the air urging his men forward; victory shall be theres!!Zhang Ji1000 Zhong Militia 750 Zhong Spearmen 750 Zhong Pikemen 500 Zhong Cavalry 250 Zhong Swordsmen 250 Zhong Bowmen Fan Chou1000 Zhong Militia 500 Zhong Bowmen 500 Zhong Pikemen 500 Zhong Spearmen 500 Zhong Cavalry 500 Zhong Swordsmen As the large contingent of Imperial forces travelled to the Regent General's aid, the military officials rushed to the security of the city in the Generals' absence; with their numbers they searched..a mere 1000 Imperial troops had been left in defence. "That fool! Regent General shall be our downfall!" Cries left as they feared an attack with the city left near defenceless.. "Do not be so quick in failure, this city is of strategic brilliance; it shall not fall." From the group spoke up one of courage, one who would also be willing to take the fore and wield a blade on behalf of Li Jue to defend Chang'an..simply to gain some merit. It was Xu Rong, who had managed to escape the murder of Dong just as his comrades and already had great feats in his claims. In the days of the old coalition against his Liege, it was him with his friend Hu Zhen to bring great defeats against the Coalition..especially that of the current lead, Cao Cao. "Do you think I was born without a brain? Myself and General Hu have gained followers, we shall combine them with the Imperial forces to guard the city." It was a hardened statement, yet the ministers rejoiced to the safety of the city..placing their confidence within the talents of Xu Rong and Hu Zhen, who now guard the city with 3000 men!As the main contingent pressed the charge, from the mountains outisde the city tumbled troops that roared as the mountainous bears towards the rear flank of Zhang Ji and Fan Chou; blazing the banner of their former master!.. It was the Generals of old, those who were believed to have simply fallen within the skirmish.. Yet the large number of them that was expected did not rise, they knew it was too risky; yet, the most loyal placed their powers onto the table. Hu Che'er, Hu Chi'er and Niu Fu have arrived!Niu Fu250 Zhong Cavalry 250 Zhong Spearmen Hu Chi'er100 Zhong Cavalry 100 Zhong Swordsmen 300 Zhong Pikemen Hu Che-er100 Zhong Bowmen 100 Zhong Pikemen 100 Zhong Spearmen 200 Zhong Swordsmen Li Jue & Guo SiContinuously charging ahead, the Regent General knew it was at a loss..within his mind he sensed the Emperor was now within the hands of Cao Cao; but, it was not the reason for him continuing the charge..his mouth foamed with revenge, Li would not return until the blood of all those opposing him were spilled upon this ground. Traitors the lot of them to him, especially the one he called brother; Guo Si! "Traitor! Treacherous worm!! I shall have your head upon a spike!" The whip was cracked, so hard upon the horse it caused blood to pertrude; it did not buckle and rise..but instead moved forward the head thrashing in pain. The men that followed saw this, their sympathy for the horse was lit and anger rose towards their leader; yet, they could not give up on him..he was intoxicated, he had made himself vulnerable while rushing towards the enemy.Li Jue750 Zhong Cavalry 250 Zhong Swordsmen 500 Zhong Pikemen 250 Zhong Spearmen 250 Zhong Bowmen There he was, the now rival of the Regent General..the horse refused to go any further; the contingent came to a halt..as did the enemy before him. Both eyes, burning with the desire to see each others blood splattered on the ground. "You coward! How dare you turn your blade upon the Empire..upon me!! We were brothers, yet, you constantly bite the hand that fed you!"General Guo could not believe the words spouting from his once comrade's mouth, the arrogance for him to take into his mind that he was the provider; truely the power he placed himself had gone to his head! Guo could see the intoxication and yet would not desire to act upon a foe in such a state, the anger refused to calm; it was boiling over. "You cur! You take luxury in others poverty, you give no merit to those who earned it..you spread rumour of others corruption when you put it there yourself!! Today shall be your last and it shall be well deserved!!" Cuss words left each other, the contingent under the General being larger than the Regent Generals by a mere thousand..Guo Si1000 Zhong Cavalry 250 Zhong Bowmen 250 Zhong Swordsmen 500 Zhong Spearmen 500 Zhong Pikemen "No matter how many poor souls you brainwash to fight for you today, it shall never be enough! You shall witness the strength of the commoners..the people you made suffer!!" Eyes red with rage, fire causing both bodies to pump in and out; breathing becoming heavy.. "I'm not alone in this, we acted together!! If I fall, so shall you!!" Neither could move, the formation of their troops would not enter their minds..too angry..too blood thirsy, neither would make the first move; they could not.. Tightly their hands gripped their weapons, the other upon the reigns; however, Li Jue remained to have problems with his horse! Summary:- Zhang Ji & Fan Chou had left Chang'an, advancing to aid Li Jue!
- Xu Rong & Hu Zhen have stayed behind to defend the city!
- Generals have appeared advancing behind Zhang Ji & Fan Chou; Niu Fu, Hu Che'er & Hu Chi'er!

Tan Zhi Han stood before his men alongside the forces of Cao Cao. Han looked over to Cao, and gave him a respectful nod of fraternity. Han stood before his men; Aisin Kuro stood before the Bei Hai troops, Liu Gong before the Cheng Du troops. Han looked up and felt the warm air against his skin. A chill raced up from his legs to his chest, arms, and neck. Nice… Han looked to Kuro and Gong. Both men about faced and gave the order to do final check up. The cavalry sergeants paced down every column. Making sure every soldier was prepped and ready to go, giving some last minute tips and pep talks. Once the check was complete, the sergeants returned to their positions and one by one shouted readiness. Kuro and Gong about faced and shouted readiness. Han looked at every man’s eyes.
”Today we brothers, though born on different dates, different homes, different backgrounds, stand on this battlefield now, with the wind on our side! The sun stands at high noon, and all of China!...”
Han brings out his arms to refer to all the forces of the coalition.
”Has come out to destroy the last remnants of Dong Zhuo’s forces. He thought he could rule without the people! We proved him wrong at Shi Shui Gate, and again at Hu Lao Gate. We are the champions of the future, and to claim that glorious future, we must banish the ghosts of our past. Li Jue? Guo Si? Let them crash against our shields, and fall before our blades! Let our arrows send their souls to hell!
The men cheered and roared. Even the sergeants began smiling and howling for blood. Aisin Kuro and Liu Gong raised their arms for silence. Han spoke very calmly and very seriously. Soldiers had to lean forward to hear. Slowly, Han became louder and louder, his voice reaching a bellowing crescendo that seemed to echo across all the central plains.
”Keep ranks. Follow your training, discipline, and leaders. All of China watches you, show them your invincible strength. Glory and honor awaits you on the battlefield, go and take it! It’s yours!”
With that, the forces under Tan Zhi Han started marching towards the enemy location from Luo Yang.

Cao Cao5 Zhong Calvary Cao Cao brushed his sweating face, wiping the thin delicate layer of his bodies protection off. The task of his intentions had been completed, the Emperor was safe. Now laid the simple mission of removing Li Jue once and far all and any of his rats who followed him. Cao Cao nodded to his men, Li Jue would storm from the West in great numbers it wouldn' be wise to travel back the way they came so instead they headed north to where his son and his army laid in wait, upon the back of his horse he quickly moves northwards, back towards his son and his forces to prepare for battle. Cao Ang500 Zhong Swordsmen 495 Zhong Calvary 1000 Zhong Crossbowmen 1000 Zhong Spearmen 1000 Zhong Bowmen The young, ambitious man sat quietly upon his horse. This would be his first battle of real significance.. He had put down bandits before but nothing on this scale. His father had left him incharge of such a huge unit, which pressured him a little. They were currently stationed inside the small fortress to the North-East. It had been set up for this very occasion, so they could be prepared for Li Jue. "My lord, Guo Si has engaged Li Jue's forces!"Cao Ang looked around at his men eating from bowls looking him, requesting to assist Guo Si and go to war.. Though his orders demanded he stayed put until his father arrived. He clenched his fists, before pulling out his sword. "Prepare for war, all of you into formations immediately!"He shouted, seeing as it was the time to act. No message had been heard from his father and therefore it was up to him to act before the situation turned bad. The generals bowed, before advisors came out. "My lord, your father..."They were silenced by a swining blade in the air as Cao Ang ignored them. "Silence! You are a fool to not see the great oppotunity that Guo Si has provided for us."He shouted back, before the armies lined up outside, dropping their provisions down inside of the fortress and lining up in perfect order. Preparing themselves to march. Cao Ang standing infront of them. The other generals who has joined the coalition appeared to be sprung by his activity. They to had been told to wait for Imperial Protector Cao Cao. Summary- Cao Cao moves north from the bridge towards the fort.
- Cao Ang becomes impatient and begins to prepare his troops.

The plan was put into action and Lu Bu already prowled the outer confines of the palace, carefully moving through room after room using his expert knowledge. The idea was simple, Lu Bu would get the honour of taking Li Jue's life and in doing so make sure Cao Cao had little hassle in a quick pursuit from the drunken fool.
Fengxian knew by now the Emperor should have been taken, he heard commotion from inside the main chamber and gave a grin, preparing to kick through the next door, where he could be almost certain Li Jue would be stood, red faced with anger and embarrassment at losing Emperor Xian so easily.
A noise to his rear alerted Lu Bu of an intruder. He instantly turned, bending in the process to grab his dagger easier from its scabbard. The unsheathed weapon would be used straight away and the greatest warrior in all of China launched himself forward, aiming a slash to the man's face, a guard of Li Jue's.
The guard was obviously one of Li Jue's elite troops and was quick to respond, bringing his arm up to stop the swing of Lu Bu's own. Blocked and with a sudden advantage the guard pushed on, literally, forcing his strength forward, whilst moving his arm to grip Lu Bu's danger arm, pushed Fengxian into the wall.
With a growl Lu Bu headbutted the man, causing the guard to let out a whine and loosen his grip. The beast from the east then proceeded to show why so few stood in his way. His hands gripped the guard's armour, who still held his nose, which was by now leaking blood, and threw him clean through the door behind him, to which the wall Lu Bu had fell back on connected with. The room in question being the palace armoury.
The two men surged through the wooden door as Lu Bu still clung onto the man's armour before letting him fall backwards to the ground. The brawl continued soon after when the man kicked away the warrior whom tried to continue his dominance by jumping on top of the fallen guard. Fengxian smirked and moved away to the side ever so slightly, beckoning his opponent on, sure of a quick victory from then on, as ever confident Lu Bu was.
As Lu Bu wanted, the man charged, fist high and with the speed of a diving hawk, Lu Bu unsheathed his other dagger with his left hand, his other being lost somewhere during the fight. The man must have spotted the danger and shifted his posture in for a shoulder charge. It struck Lu Bu, but the Governor was far too mighty to be seriously hurt by such an attack and struck the man's neck with a precision stab.
Lu Bu pushed the man off, who had forced him into the wall with a thud, but then Lu Bu heard a noise, then a pain to his head until moments later his vision faded and he passed out. His role was not be done so easily it seemed, unconcious and already missing his opportunity within Chang An, the warrior lord would have to find his way into battle to be rid of his bitter hated enemy.
- - - - -
Meanwhile in the central plains Wei Xu waited with 1500 of Lu Bu's troops, ready to lay waste to the forces of his lord's former collaborators. The sturdy general was well known for his fire and ability but more so for his well placed calm and patience and would certainly shine in he battle ahead if given a chance by his lord, who was so far later than expected.
Scouts reported in signaling the start of proceedings with a standoff between Li Jue and Guo Si. The news brought a widening to Xu's eyes, realising that his lord had been sent in to get rid of both men, yet both remained living and there was no sign of Lu Bu. Even though he was given orders to wait, the man found fire within, fueled by the potentially bad news that waited ahead.
"Then the time is right! Our lord will soon arrive to rid the world of the foolish Li Jue. Prepare yourselves men, remember your training and stay organised. The fight ahead will be bloody, but we will show the world why we are the greatest army around!"
The troops gave an encouraging cheer and checked their equipment, soon the drums would echo and the troops would move to their given location.
[Wei Xu will arrive on the battlefield next turn]

Lu Bu stumbled through the backstreets of Chang An rubbing his head, a sick grin on his face and blood staining his clothes. It had been quite a while since he had to kill so many people, but as soon as he woke up surrounded by all those guards, the warrior within kicked in and the legend so many knew from Hu Lao Gate rose from his slumber and slaughtered them all.
He was on the run now, wanted by any remaining guards whose job it was to secure the city whilst their lord pursued the enemy, however none would find the legend that was Lu Bu, paying the stable master and claiming back his infamous steed Red Hare, he was already riding out of Chang An, no one dared, or could catch him as he made his way eastward, desperate to make up ground.

Liu BeiSetting out from Luo Yang with the rest of the lords, Xuande had collected the 35 cavalrymen who were waiting outside the city, joining with the five he had brought as bodyguards. Arriving outside, he had begun to learn that the Emperor was already fleeing Li Jue and was residing in Luo Yang. With such welcoming news, Liu Bei was content with marching upon the pretender who claimed to be protecting the Emperor. Though he was slightly annoyed that there was no notice of this earlier, for he wished to present himself to the Imperial highness. Still, all that mattered to him at this point was that the Emperor was safe. His thoughts shifted to Yunchang and Yang Zhi, as they should be arriving shortly. He had left letters of instruction in Yong An, and also a messenger, and their arrival would bring some relief to him. He decided to ride out a little towards the direction that his generals would arrive from. Making his way out, he began to hear the drums that his forces used as marching songs. Though he assumed he was just imagining it, since he couldn't see any flags in the direction he was looking. Though he knew they would arrive soon, based on knowing that Yunchang kept a good watch and would not allow the march to slack. --------------------------------------------------- Liu Bei's troops that will arrive with Guan Yu and Yang Zhi from Yong An.Liu Bei/Yang Zhi's command:500 Chu Halberds 500 Chu Crossbows 500 Chu Cavalry 500 Shu Cavalry (40 are already with Liu Bei, making the count with Yang Zhi to be 460) 1000 Shu Crossbowmen Total number of troops: 3000 Guan Yu's command:500 Chu Cavalry 500 Chu Swordsmen 100 Chu Crossbowmen 500 Shu Swordsmen 200 Shu Bowmen 200 Shu Crossbowmen 100 Shu Cavalry Total number of troops: 2100 Yen Shin's command: (Liu Bei does not know of him coming IC.) 1000 Shu Bowmen 500 Shu Cavalry 500 Shu Axemen 100 Shu Scout Cavalry Total number of troops: 2100 Summary- Liu Bei has left Luo Yang and positioned himself on the field with 40 Shu Cavalry.

The march to the scene was uneventful, the legions flying Liu Bei's banners had arrived from the south. Zhang Qin was leading the vanguard, Guan Yu and Yang Zhi had the center, Yen Shin had the rearguard.
Zhang Qin noticed the small unit of cavalry in the distance then with his eagle like eyes saw the friendly colours and banner of Liu Bei himself. Urging the army forward Zhang Qin dismounted and bowed to his liege as he approached, "Lord Liu, General Guan Yu will be here in moments with the main army."
Moments later in the distance Guan Yu's banner could be seen flying grandly. In the lead Guan was chatting idly with Yang Zhi when he saw Liu Bei with Zhang Qin, he hooked his mighty weapon onto his saddle and sped forward, as did Yang Zhi, bowing Guan said, "The army stands ready to chastise the rebels as you ordered brother." Then Guan smiled as he said, "I also bring with me a new recruit who has been enlisted into our ranks, one Yen Shin of Hebei, Yong'an has been quite busy since you left for Luoyang."
Guan Yu then had Yang Zhi and his command transfered to Liu Bei himself, and mounted his steed once more. Bearing his mighty Guandao Guan Yu ordered scouts be sent in the direction of Chang'an to bring news of opposition. Then he awaited the arrival of Yen Shin and indeed the battle.
The armies of Liu Bei have arrived in the fields to the south.

Troops: 200 Wu Han Mountain Cavalry
Guan Shao sat atop his horse, holding the reins delicately. His face was placid as he looked at the amass of general present. He smirked slightly, the only show of emotion he had allowed himself in a long time.
He trotted forwards, towards where Liu Yan's forces were. He looked at the two assembled members from that faction, the Shimazu family, and spoke to them directly;
"My lord wants to speak with your master. Visit Ye at some point, you have diplomatic immunity in Ye and will be treated lavishly."
Guan then rode towards the front of the city, his 200 Wu Han following him closely. He reached the gate before turning around, and then rode back into the center of the city. He and his men then turned around, pulling out torches.
They rode with them unlit, until they got about 100 yards from the gates of Luo Yang. They were struck with flint, the tops of the torches catching almost immediately. 200 torches were thrown into the air onto nearby buildings, the dry heat of the day allowing them to catch easily on the nearby buildings.
Guan Shao and his men rode the remaining distance, a simple 100 yards. They closed the distance even as their torches were thrown, and upon exiting the city, and immediately turning eastwards, a shout of "FOR EMPEROR YUAN SHAO!" rose from their throats, as they cleared the city, and left the battlefield, back to the north.
Actions
Guan Shao has set fire to Luo Yang! Guan Shao and his 200 Wu Han have left Luo Yang amidst declarations of Yuan Shao's empire!

Magashi and Xiang arrived at the battlefield earlier than everyone else, because they didn't have any troops to hold them down. They rode at a comfortable pace, Xiang hold the ever-drunk Magashi up in his saddle. It didn't take long for Xiang to realize that they were really going to be quite useless in this fight; having a big dick could only get you so far in life. And a massive camel-sized penis, as impressive as it may be, was no match for a spear. Well, at least on the battlefield.
Xiang dismounted his horse as Magashi fell out of the saddle. Magashi proceeded to laugh so hard he almost peed himself. Xiang sighed, picked Magashi up, and analized his friend.
"So, how drunk are you right now Magashi?"
"On uh scael uv wun to tehn? Ownly, liek... a wun."
"Well, that's good ne-"
"WUN THAWHUZUND!"
"... No more talking for you."
It was at that point one of Yuan Shao's men appeared, and requested that Xiang and Magashi tell Kazi of his invite to the city of Ye. Diplomatic immunity?
"Dood, like..... do yew knowh whut I'd dew wif dipmatic munitee? I cuhd, liek... drowp muh paents ahnd fuhck awl sorta wumen ahnd when thuh p'leec cum, I'd bee liek 'dude its cuwl, I gaht diplatik muniteee."
"I said no more talking, you dumb shit. So, you know how we don't have any troops right?"
"Yah."
]"And you know how you're totally shit-faced right now, right?"
"I'm also high as fuck."
"Here's the deal. I need you to ride to Kazi and tell him to go to Ye, it sounded sort of important. Then, I need you to lay down because I have a feeling you're going to have some bad spins tomorrow."
Magashi didn't have time to speak as Xiang slapped Magashi's horse on the rump, sending it flying towards Kazi's current location in the kingdom of Liu Yan. At this point, Xiang rode to Cao Cao, one of the leaders of this coalition.
"Honorable Cao Cao, while I have no troops to give you I have my spear, which is stronger than 100 men. I await your orders, Lord Mengde."

Yen Shin enjoyed the march, his thoughts lost in the battlefield already. Although he planned tactics, strategies and tasks for his troops to carry out, seeking to take a leading position in the battle, he seeked no glory for himself. He did not care what the people thought of him, only what he thought of himself.
Now dressed in his battle armour, and weapons ready on his steed Nightsong, he called upon the captain of the Scouts under his command. "Captain!" The same man that had been sent to fetch his armour came to him. "The name is-" "No matter! Names are meaningless here, man! Quickly, take 10 of your men and scout ahead! I see fields to the west and mountains to the northwest. Take your mean between the two by the road, and as soon as you sight enemy forces, turn around and report the distance to me." The man took notice of the orders, gathered another 10 riders and went off across the bridge to carry them out.
At sighting Guan Yu move to greet a man that had been riding to meet them, he quickly concluded that it must be... At long last, his search was over. The Lord Liu Bei Xuande was before him. A surge of joy and a feeling of accomplishment filled Yen Shin as he came to that realization, spurring Nightsong forward in front of the ranks. He stopped his horse a few feet from the man, came down from it and as soon as his feet touched the ground, kneeled in front of the man, prostrating in the same way he had to Lin Chong.
"You must be the Lord Liu Bei Xuande. My name is Yen Shin of He Nei. It has been months since I first heard rumours of your lordship, and I am glad to finally meet you. I may have been given rank by Lord Lin Chong, but honour bides I offer my life and blade to your service." He awaited a response, his right hand holding onto the spurs of Nightsong, just in case the brave steed gets ideas of running off.

(Little background to clear things up, all coalition members have been sent to the camp, noted upon the map as the grey square. ALL. This means nobody is allowed inside of outside of the city without strict permission due to the Emperor being inside as well as Cao Cao being away. This is the guard captains response to the large calvary force trying to return to the highly defended city. Ignoring defensive terms and potentially a threat to the Emperor. Therefore if you wish to attack me, do it in another thread rather then spoiling this battle one. Also your units will be outside of Luo Yang because Cao Cao wouldn't leave Luo Yang with any generals of a threat inside, being the paranoid bastard he is.)
[Guard Captain of Luo Yang] - This is not a double post, but the defence force of Luo Yang - defending both Cao Cao's lands and the Emperor.
1000 Zhong Archers 2000 Zhong Crossbowmen 1000 Zhong Spearmen 500 Zhong Calvary 1500 Zhong Swordsmen
They were all on high alert, with the Emperor now within the walls Cao Cao had put strict laws and defences into play. Only a fool would attack. The defence force was vast, consisting of over 6,000 men plus several valiant officers. Being in the broad daylight still the horses of Guan Shao were identified already. They ignored the defences of Luo Yang.
"My lord a strange calvary unit has ignored our defensive orders and is now charging straight for us."
Luo Yang, being on a strategic high ground and containing many signal fires and guard towers meant the enemy would be spotted long before they arrived. The city was huge and well guarded. The guard captain stroked his chin, it was settled. He signalled to the calvary before sending a small child to sound the war bell. Such a simple fire attack on the central gate would not work, it was the largest and most defended area. Even by a so called "ally". Cao Cao was hostile towards anyone who came close to the Emperor and had issued an order to destroy anyone who attempted to enter or get close to the city without permission. This act had been voided by these calvary rabble and therefore would be put down.
"I have no other option but to fire upon them, bring down that chaotic calvary before it comes any closer!"
He shouted, as the calvary headed straight towards Luo Yang - rather stupid in his eyes. However, he didn't underestimate the enemy. The crossbowmen and archers lined the walls, many of them already stationed there.
"Fire upon them fools who defy our defences! Ensure none of the escape!"
He shouted himself, before signalling the calvary to extend themselves. Opening the main gates to chase down any survivors. He watched as they rained arrows down upon the invading calvary.
"Tighten the defences around the Emperor, i will see that he is safe!"

All seems tame, Generals move to the fore as the word of Li Jue and Guo Si's stalemate spread among both sides; all rush to be the first to spill blood. From the East travel those who were pressumed dead, banners of old come Zhang Ji and Fan Chou to encircle Guo Si to protect their intoxicated comrade. Taking the fear are another group; Hu Chi'er, Hu Che'er and Niu Fu, to bolster the Imperial Army with the small units of their own.
One being who follows the banner of the Liu clan strives to act first, however his speech seems to confuse friend and foe; was he the only one not to hear that Guo Si had turned upon Li Jue?.. Yet it does not halt them, for they charge towards the battlefield. It seemed Cao Cao had a moment of cowardice as he charged within the city to 'protect' the Emperor, leaving his son Ang to take lead. But, without making preparations involving his farther, Cao Ang joins the charge and goes to engage battle!
Somehow infultrating the Capital city [this shall be overlooked], such a strange feat for a man whose base is on the other side of the realm; meaning he would have had to pass through cities to get into Chang'an..and past Zhang Ji, Fan Chou, Li Jue and other Generals?.. Nonetheless his movements are weak, yet it is his General Wei Xu to act and rush the enemy with the rest. Another to follow suit was the mighty officers of Shu, lead personally by their Liege Liu Bei; the only regional Lord to have placed the charge so far!
What's this? A fool upon the horizon! Approaching the Coalition Leader is another being of the Liu Yan stock, no troops you hear? A mere spear? Oh my! Indeed a legend this man believes himself to be, cussing his way to the for with a single spear; against the might of the Imperial Army!
Terror! The horror, who could act in such a malice way!? The recently self-proclaimed Emperor of the realm, Yuan Shao. On orders a small contingent of Wuhan Cavaliers hailed torches upon the West side of the city; pandamodeum!! Peasants run to-and-thro, screams circulating; indeed the damage would be minimal, but where was their savour? Cao Cao! Shining man of breed, volleys upon the Cavaliers, taking some into his tally..but, to the peasants dismay there was no order of the fires to be put out!!Troop Loses:Wuhan Mountain Cavalry20 Wu Han Mountain Cavalry - caught by the many volleys of Cao Cao All others have no loses!Notcies- All those heading to the Battlefield can now arrive!
- If the fire is not delt with properly it could turn into devastation [meaning troop loses] or result in a revolt through neglect!
Post Order:- Cao Cao - Tan Zhi Han - Lu Bu - Liu Bei - Guan Yu - Yen Shin - Xiang/ Magashi Shimazu - Guo Si / Li Jue / Zhang Ji / Fan Chou / Hu Chi'er / Hu Che'er / Niu Fu FOR THOSE WHO STILL WISH TO TAKE PART AND ARE NOT PART OF THE OFFICER POST, WHO APPEARED IN THE 'CALL TO ARMS' THREAD, SIMPLY POST AND YOU SHALL BE ADDED. - AFTER THE NEXT MOD POST NO ONE SHALL BE ABLE TO JOIN!

[Cao Ang] "My lord, Cao Cao approaches"Cao Ang turned to the messenger, his moment of bravery had been seized at the arrival of his father. He turned to see his father and a handful of calvary making it back alive and well. He bowed his head to him having the army prepared and ready for combat. "Father, we are ready for war!"He shouted, before the rallied men behind him signal the same and yell all in sync loudly. The figure upon the black steed he calls his father walks on by gently before halting. Cao Ang gulps, knowing his father isn't the most of the understanding of people. [Cao Cao] "Impressive, my son you have exceeded my expectations."He says turning his head and bowing his head in honour to the man, his own son who would soon be an amazing general. He then turns to the force prepared for combat. Raising his sword up. Not only are the forces of Cao ready but everyone else. Being the host of this coalition force something erupts in him. The more time they wasted here, the more trouble Guo Si would find himself in. "A close friend of mine fights alone, Guo Si. The Emperor is safe, but without us here today we couldn't have done it. I thank you on my own accord, alone i couldn't have done it. But today isn't about the Emperor it us about us! The heroes of China. The ones who kept order! Raise your swords and your voices men."He says riding down the line, gently tapping his sword across the mens swords all along the lines, no matter their background, force or intentions. "Forward! For Guo Si! Emperor Xian! and the Han! Charge!"He shouts as his unit sprints off, moving towards the lower opening in the mountains, it would be a firm place to defend and allow them to feed Guo Si with assistance. [Guard Captain] "Keep firing upon them criminals!"The guard captain shouted, seeing a trail of horse and human bodies. He snarled cursing before turning his intentions to the city. "Send a message to Master Cao Ren, the city has been attacked by a small force!"He said to a messenger before send his ground forces to assist with dealing with the fires immediately keeping a tight watch upon the walls. It wasn't rare for these attacks to come in bigger bunches then one. They had been lucky this time, but they wouldn't next time. The units split, tending to the fires and evacuating the people to avoid casualties. There wasn't much fire to deal with due to the city being so big their was alot of assistance. The good favour of Cao Cao in the city even upsurped peasents assisting in putting out the fires, casting water upon the flammable wounds. "Curse these bandits! Lord Cao Cao will punish them!"- Cao Cao returns to army beside Cao Ang.
- Cao Cao rallies men before marching towards the central battle area.
- The guard captain keeps firing at the calvary but tends to the city as well.

(I am confused, can you update the map of positions? Based on the "Map of Positions" I am uncertain where I and my allies are coming out. I will thus follow what was told to me in the chat log, and arrive at the road.) (Also, why would my character know Guo Si had turned on Li Jue? It's not like Guo Si has a megaphone... Please help me out by specifying what is “IC available knowledge” and “OOC knowledge.” My character doesn't have superman senses... does he? Pretty please? OOC, yes, I realize that Guo Si turned on Li Jue, but IC, why would anyone but those immediately involved with Li Jue and Guo Si know?) Han arrived on the battlefield at the road. Han had the men form up into their marching squad formations. While the men get into battle formations, Han observes the landscape: mountains, valley, fields, river, bridge, road, fortress.
The river is a natural barrier, as are the mountains. The fields could be a good ambush locations, but could also spell doom for a failed ambush. The mountains are powerful once taken, but playing king of the hill would be costly. Perhaps if his allies could keep the enemy occupied while Han’s troops took the mountain… The bridge would be a good kill zone for enemy troops, but they would have to be lured there. And the fortress was a natural position from which to fend off enemies, but for how long?
With all squads in marching formation, Han set them into columns to proceed along the road west, moving towards the southern mountain. Han leads 2 regiments while Liu Gong and Aisin Kuro lead 1 regiment each. If the enemy comes into sight before then, Han will hold fast 400 meters from the bridge and hold the eastern side, using ranged combat to destroy the enemy and forcing the enemy into a fatal funnel.
The columns moved quietly, in order to maintain speed and security, best not to needlessly alert the enemy. Han wanted his troops at their best when the battle actually started.Situation/Formation:A Squad (20 men) is: comprised of 1 H, 2 S, 2 T, 5 D, 5 B, 5 X 5 Squads make Company (100 men) 5 Companies make a Battalion (500 men) 2 Battalions make a Regiment (1000 men) 2 Regiments make an Army (2000 men) Squad FormationsAll forces will focus on ranged combat, unless enemy enters melee range. In the case of melee combat, crossbowmen and archers will continue firing whenever possible, while melee troops fend off cavalry. Spearmen fend off the horses of cavalry or infantry, swordsmen move up to kill any riders the spearmen knock down or infantry, and all are to maintain positions depending on situations, and the cavalry sergeants are to maintain constant control of their squads, using squad formations as best as they see fit, but always staying within the formation of the whole army. Situations in which Han’s forces do not outnumber the enemy at least 3 to 1 are unfavorable and Han would rather withdraw to maintain ranged combat rather than entering into a slaughter fest. It is preferrable to always keep an enemy at the front of your troops, unless some ploy is being hatched. Sergeants are responsible for their units and must always observe the situation of their fellow units to their immediate left and right. Sergeants wear flags on their backs under the armor, the normal condition flag is the purple flag of Liu Yan’s forces. If they need immediate assistance, they switch from purple to red. If they have spotted something of particular importance or have taken or completed a important target or objective, they will raise a green flag. On a red flag, nearby units will respond in kind and assist in handling the enemy. On a green flag, Aisin Kuro, Liu Gong, or Tan Zhi Han (whoever is closest) will ride to the position and receive the report, determining what the next plan of action is. Sergeants give firing commands; on command “ready,” all melee troops not in combat or in danger of immediate combat, drop to a low stance while still holding their shields to block incoming volleys. At command “aim,” crossbowmen aim. At “fire” crossbowmen fire. At command “reload,” while the crossbowmen reload, melee troops return to normal stance and deflect incoming volleys from themselves and nearby allies, and archers aim, fire, and reload repeatedly until crossbowmen finish reloading. The point of this is to maintain constant and steady fire on the enemy while maintaining efficient defense against the same being reciprocated. FIring targets are based on importance for all ranged units are: -Leaders/Officers - > Grunts -Most threatening - > Fleeing Enemies -Do NOT FIRE TOWARDS FRIENDLIES EDIT: The spacing of my letters doesn't work quite right here, I will try to do something in paint. But the point is, defenders at the front, melee behind them as support/attack, crossbowmen/bowmen fire when they have a shot.

Wei Xu had acted well, his decision to focus on the battle ahead and not his potentially lost lord meant the forces of Lu Bu were ready and prepared for the battle ahead. Weapons sharped, armour checked, double checked and ready and horses fed and ready for a ride ahead. The only thing they lacked was their immensely inspirational lord, the man who made the army feel invincible. "Okay men, lets move out!" They traveled in a standard column formation, recognised in nearly everyone country in the world for marching and troop movement. The youthful officer was keeping things simple for now, not being drawn into the temptation of taking too many risks like his Lord. He would not charge ahead, he would await orders from the coalition leader, Cao Cao, in fact he would send the man a messenger, he decided as the ranks begun to move. Small time past, and admist all the commotion of allies arriving, another showed its face to Mengde, this time in the shape of a lowly messenger upon a horse. He was a cheery sort, bowing with a young smile, obviously not being with the army too long, or with the world. "Lord Cao Cao, my general Wei Xu would like to send you wishes of good luck for the future battle and would like to request orders if you are not too busy. He always sends warning of our Lord yet to appear and would be thankful for any news on his whereabouts if available." The boy, still with a smile bowed and waited for a reply. No doubt the news of a missing Fengxian would put a dent in the assurity of the battle, he was without a doubt the pinnacle of reputation and fear on the battlefield, a weapon of war none would care to be without, nor indeed face. Whilst many wondered on his being, Lu Bu rode, his back arched forward, his hands gripping the reins tightly as his steed, the magnificant Red Hare took on its own well known reputation, speeding away through the fields like never before. Every so often Lu Bu found himself smiling, reaching forward and giving the never stopping animal a thankful stroke, knowing what it was putting on the line to get Lu Bu where he wanted to be. Back on the battlefield Wei Xu changed his formation into something a little more battle-like. His swordsmen took the fore of the defence and in a more aggressive tone, crossbowmen ventured more forward than the defensive line. Meanwhile Spearmen took the flanks of the swordsmen, with a smaller unit lined up behind the swordsmen, providing vital cover in case of a foolish cavalry charge from the enemy. Talking about cavalry, Wei Xu's own formed a very default position of on either flank, their numbers equaled out. Wei Xu still awaited news from Cao Cao about Lu Bu and his orders. Wei Xu was not going to do this alone, he had not the experience, nor the rank to do anything by his lonesome, he was forced to wait for the hero of chaos to respond. Summary:- Wei Xu has moved forces to coalition starting area. - Wei Xu has sent a messenger to Cao Cao asking him for orders and news on Lu Bu - Lu Bu is on his way and will arrive next turn.
