Name: Cao Ren (Zixiao)
Age: Born in 168 (28 years old)
Gender: Male
Style: Canon
Residence: Chen Liu, Yan, Zhongyuan
Personality: Cao Ren is a kind and compassionate man who strives to practice the act of endurance. He often refers to himself as an immovable rock obstructing his enemies' path who will not falter unless he is broken. Although he is a valiant warrior in battle, Zixiao is a pacifist at heart, disliking war and those who actively perpetuate it. He sees war as a necessary evil, as it is the only way to end the ongoing strife. However, he believes that everyone should be living in happiness instead of being forced to turn to such things. Zixiao is blessed with great determination, but this also means that he isn't flexible with switching his mindset regarding personal relationships. He can never relax his warrior senses, though, even whilst in the presence of loved ones.
Zixiao shares a close relationship with his older cousin Cao Cao, and will place his loyalty in Mengde until his death.

Cao Ren stands at 5'11", above most average heights of his comrades. He has a tanned, scarless complexion and quite a muscular build from fighting and training. His face in fact looks slightly older than he actually is due to much stress he personally receives from war. He has pitch black hair, being of Chinese blood, which is of a moderately long length, and a beard of the same color which he prefers to keep.
Armour: Cao Ren's armor consists of the usual officers' plate armor and a sturdy helmet. The armor is quite useful and serves its purpose well, although there are a few places in between the plates that are only covered with the black clothing underneath. A blue robe is wound around his shoulders and tied to his front, reaching back and down; the blue represents Wei, the kingdom he loyally serves. Zixiao's helmet was given only the simplest of decorations, having a yellow outline and feathers to the rear. The only prominent addition was two small horns on the front of the helmet.
Weapon(s): Trident
Cao Ren's trident is a long polearm with three separate tips, in other words a three-pronged spear. It is nothing much out of the ordinary compared to other weapons of the same type, although the weapon itself is not so commonly used by soldiers. The prongs are quite large for the pole in the front, and there are two smaller spikes at the rear end of the weapon, allowing it to be lethal on both ends. The pole itself is made of sturdy wood, as is the case with all polearms.
The setback of this weapon is that the massive metal prongs make the trident a not-so-agile weapon compared to others. Cao Ren can easily handle it due to long-term training and his natural strength, but it still can be a bit difficult to use swiftly. As well, although the prongs are extremely effective in impaling or disarming other weapons, they cannot slice through flesh when swung in a slashing manner, even though the strength will most likely give huge impact.
Jian
The jian is a light, double-bladed sword, used as a secondary weapon or a sidearm when needed. Cao Ren rarely uses this weapon, although it is always at his side. It is easy to reach and use when the trident is unable to wield. The Jian, being light, is more easier to control and swifter to swing, as well as being able to cut with both sides and can be held in Zixiao's left hand when needed, while the trident is still in his right.
The setback of the jian is that due to it being designed to be light, it doesn't give much of a powerful effectiveness compared to the trident. As well, it has a very limited range, not being a long polearm. However, it can serve its minor purpose well.
History: Cao Ren, styled Zixiao, was born in the county of Qiao in the year 168, and was a younger cousin of Cao Cao. His grandfather and father had both held significant civil and military posts before him, so Zixiao was born in a family of some nobility. From his youth days, Zixiao was very fond of hunting on horseback, and would spend much time engaged in this activity. When the Yellow Turban Rebellion burst out all across the land in 184, he gathered more than a thousand young men under his flag and wandered the area between the Huai River and the Si River.
In 190, Cao Cao started raising an army to join the coalition against Dong Zhuo, the tyrannical warlord holding the emperor hostage in the imperial court. Cao Ren and his followers immediately joined Cao Cao, and from then on Zixiao began to accompany Cao Cao on various campaigns, starting from the crushing of Dong Zhuo.
