The open seas are... salty.
And certainly no place for the feint of heart.
A grand ship, the size of what one would imagine at least four ships would be- was set to be unveiled today. The town was naturally set ablaze with wonder and had filled the docks periodically through the day. One such pair, was Xhai Xian and Anubis- a walking whiteboard and a cat with a marker respectively. They'd set off earlier from the alley they'd stayed in the previous night, Anubis had insisted, but they both knew he would. This, to Xhai, was second nature by now as he'd felt compelled since the day he'd awoken to follow those set of eyes he'd opened up to. He owed this cat his life, surely? Besides, the little thing talked to him, so that was good enough for him.
Even still.. he almost though twice before following Anubis up a long lanky plank onto the back side of the ship. Why a ship? Were we setting sail for a new land? His thinking almost caused him to lose balance and after much trivial flailing he found his way up upon the ship's back deck. He was alone, except for Anubis for they were just letting the passengers on from the front. To little surprise, Xhai was oblivious of this and simply walking around and exploring what he could find. It was a wonder to him, and even Anubis had decided to have a look, his claws digging into Xhai's shoulder like a parrot as they went about. As the pair rounded up staircase to the left they found themselves upon the deck with the passengers. All sorts of people were abundant, but Xhai was not much of a talker and decided to find his way to a corner and wait for the ship's departure.
