It was a beautiful day today but it wouldn't be during this time of war. Sun Shang Xiang decided to go to the famed Lingering Garden. As she walked past the garden walls, she observed the beautiful scenery. Flowering peaches are grown for spring color, and sweet olive as well. Somehow the air in the garden was much lighter than anywhere else. It must of been because the garden was secluded by so many plants. The sun shun against Lady Sun's long brown hair and she could feel its warmness on her scalp. The weather was not too cold nor too humid. It was just right with her having her imperial princess gown on.
As the princess walked the gardens she spotted an olive just before her. It look so delicious so she picked it and ate it. Its bitter juice left her mouth satisfied and she continued to walked through the garden. It was quiet but the birds chirping set the tranquility. Lady Sun hummed a tune, the song that her deceased mother had sung to her and her brothers. With her parents now gone, she is left to look up to her brother Sun Ce and her Aunt Wu Guotai.
The young princess was distracted when she reached an end to the garden. She looked before her and she saw two men. Judging from their clothes they looked like scholars. One of them was laying down on a bench making a painting and the other was sitting down writing to what seemed like poetry. They spotted the daughter of Sun Jian and stopped what they were doing. Although they didn't look familiar to her, they seemed to know who she was. After painting and reading the two men smiled at her and bowed before her without saying a word. After rising they would make their leave. Sun Shang Xiang was spooked out by this but she didn't mean to disrupt what they were doing. The princess turned around and "Wait!" she said softly. But when she turned around they had already left and so she decided to observed at the painting.
It seemed unfinished but you could still make out what was it. They were two different images. One side was China in chaos and they other was China in peace. It depicted the lands current state. The princess glanced over to the stone were the second man was sitting and found the poem he was writing. Not having anything else to do, Shang Xiang took the paper and sat down reading its words...

The palace walls were beginning to get stuffy, so Magashi decided he needed some air. Not only would it be fresh, but the oxygen would probably help cure his hang-over. Black tea didn't help, neither did a cold bath. Magashi knew what the cure for too many girls and too much alcohol was. More girls, and more alcohol. He would be to busy worrying about the new girls and his new drinks to worry about a hang-over.
Magashi began to walk the palace grounds, and saw two men leaving a garden. They seemed to be talkign about someone, and describing the person with hand motions. At first, Magashi thought the men were talking about an hourglass, but then he realized what they were really talking about.

Magashi casually strolled into the garden, and found his target; she seemed quite pretty from behind. she was kneeling infront of a painting, presumably finishing up the art-work. Shit, she was cultured. Magashi had never written poetry, and he had never painted anything. Well, this was sure about to get interesting.
Magashi neared the girl, before politely clearing his throat. He would need to take things slow, judging how she spoke to decide whether to take a suave or a brash approach to this.
"Do you paint? It's lovely."

Sun Shang Xiang flipped a lock of her hair behind her ear as she was reading the paper that the poet had left. It was very interesting and well written but she has read better. He seemed like an armature in poetry.
As her eyes followed every line, the princess noticed that she wasn't alone but she didn't get distracted. She continued to read the poets paper but also heard the man clearing his throat before he spoke. "No. I don't paint." Sun Shang Xiang said in a respectable tone.
"It is lovely isn't it...Chaos going to peace. It seems impossible with the way things are currently are." the garden seemed to deny this but outside of it is back to war. Shang Xiang did not even look up to the man as she multi tasked; reading and listening as she spoke to the stranger. She didn't want to be bothered but it looks like there was no avoiding him.

"It's lovely, isn't it?"
"Yes, you are."
Magashi didn't listen to the rest of what she said, he was too caught up in her face. She had porcelian features, and her hair was to die for. Magashi had seen beautiful women before in his time, but she took the cake. He sat down next to her, keeping his voice as soft as he could manage. He didn't want to scare her away; he had to draw her in.
"I'm not interrupting, am I?"

Before blinking her eyes, Sun Shang Xiang listened to the stranger's response after she spoke. She smiled and rolled her eyes as she placed the poem beside her. The princess looked to the opposite direction of the man when he came to sit next to her. His voice suddenly became soft as it reached her eardrums. Heh, he was a smooth talker. Lady Sun wasn't frightened by him. After all she knew martial arts. This rose has a harmless appearance but every has its thorns. Shang Xiang turned her head, looked directly at the man and gave him a light smile.
The princess giggled. "Are you flirting with me?" she asked softly. She knew that she was but she also wanted to see what he would say. Judging from the way that he looked, he didn't seem at all like some one of royalty or a military general so he couldn't be looking to have a concubine. As if Lady Sun would become one. She completely ignored his question and waited for his response.

"Yes."
Magashi tipped his head to the right as he looked at her. She had giggled and replied with a very soft, open response. She obviously wasn't put off by his antics, which was a good sign for Magashi. The longer she allowed him to continue his magic, the more likely he would, in the end, get what he wanted. He wasn't quite sure what that was yet.
"That's not a problem, is it?"

The princess wasn't falling for it. He was already too quick and he wasn't impressing her one bit nor was she flattered by his charms but he seemed respectful enough not to lay a hand on her. Bold. He answered correctly. Sun Shang Xiang despised liars. The sister of the Little Conquerer stood up from the stone chair, bended down and picked a small flower off the ground. Its scent was delightful.
"No it is not a problem...but I'm curious to why you are here? Are you looking for something?" Shang Xiang asked. After placing the flower behind her ear, the princess took out her royal brush and brushed her long brown hair as the sun shone upon her. She was curious to what he wanted with her since he was flirting with her. Was it affection? The tigress claimed that no one could steal her her.

"You know, figured I'd go for a walk."
She obviously wasn't biting. He didn't know why... these lines worked every time. Magashi had never really experienced this kind of resistance before... Whatever, it probably wasn't worth his time anyway. She seemed sorta uppity, and Magashi would bet money on the fact that she had probably never kissed a boy before. When Magashi looked like this, and that was the reaction he got......... something wasn't right. Maybe she was a lesbian.
"It's an interesting painting, is it not? Two completely different tales of our land..... or perhaps it the same tale seem from two different perspectives."
