I think most of the mods are in an agreement that you should only be able to select your starting regional troops (which is not bullshit, just logical) and you need to name the troops you are collecting. I am honestly surprised people did not do either of those things. Why would the rules from before, now not be a requirement? You are already getting free troops, what more do you want? They mod you're rallying in support of is the biggest offender of the latter problem, fyi. Cao Cao is waiting til he finishes his battle before collecting his troops, so he knows what to replace (Which is bullshit).

Yeah, I actually don't see the point of posting not selecting your troops just because you're in a battle. The easiest way in this case to "avoid confusion" in the matter is to just have the troops you're using for the battle stated clearly in your OP, and conduct running tallies on THOSE figures, not the figures in your sig, profile etc. So, yes, you can take the troops now, and yes, you can "avoid confusion" by doing so.
Really, the only thing confusing here is your motive in not doing this.

I agree, that is weak, but just as weak as using the time-stamp as a way to get the best troops. And I flip my allegiances regularly. But I see we are spamming in the notice area. Further more, shouldn't this be discussed in the admin area, instead of in the member area?

Not really even equal, if you ask me, since I was following the rules given to us (And have since switched after being asked to, before this argument even took place), whereas others are just saying they'll take the troops when they want to, which is actually against the rules they've given us.
So, yeah, not even comparable.

Again, I don't believe this should be discussed here. I would suggest this thread get deleted. This should be discussed in an area that normal members cannot see.

Quite probably but meh the thread got posted here and i cant be bothered atm to move it. The rules are what they are we are not talking about changing them just ensuring everyone follows them. They were perhaps posted in too vague a form in the collections thread.
Cao Cao has edit his post now so i think everyone is up to speed.
