Tori smiled to himself as he entered the city of Chen Liu, he got in without much problem since he wore no armour and had no troops with him. He had left his army in the safety of Jiang Dong which was also a sign he meant little trouble to the area. His primary intention was to learn of the lands and the rulers of China, his young mind continued to cry out for information and to learn.
There was a second reason for his visit to the city, he had brought a friend along with him. Itami, a large man who towered over Tori and always seemed as if he meant business. Itami had collected a stock of fresh fish and now was here to sell his goods to the people. "Not bad, this city sure is good on looks. I wonder who runs this place?" Tori spoke, chuckling a little as he looked at the building and the people.
Itami rolled his eyes as he carried the barrels of dried fish. "Trust me kid, you don't want to know. Not all rulers are as kind as your Lord Sun Ce. Just keep your head down and stop acting weird. Plus why did you have to wear that stupid pink robe? You look like a complete girly wimp." Itami growled as he paused by a space on the market street. He laid the barrels down and opened the first one up so he could start selling to the people. "Don't go running off okay, I can't protect you if I can't find you." Itami warned as he started shouting out his prices and goods.
Tori rolled his eyes, he felt as if he was being babied by the large man, it was almost embarrassing for him. "I like pink... I'll hang around in the general area if that makes you feel better." Tori sighed as he started to wander through the market place. He could hear the shouts of the sellers but none of the things on sale actually caught Tori's attention, only the buildings attracted Tori. He wished to know more of the history of the city.

((The wait was well worth it?))
The two young Wu merchants had managed to find their way into Chen Liu with little ease.. it was common in this era that people came to such a city to sell goods from the south and then take in a much larger profit. Such was the way of the expanding markets.. and the new lords who helped the buds of change sprout.
But with new change came new laws too, and it was that very fact that propelled Cao Ang to stop the pink robbed newcomer. Ang was in a way, the master of this market- his father not wanting him to take to the field in such turbulent times. He was, after all, his successor. Naturally because of this, the young lord was heavily displeased with this job. It was like his father was the rock and Imperial life was the hard place, he just couldn't win with either!
But.. back to things at hand. Cao Ang, with a hand cast askew on his hidden blade. This pink man seemed.. suspiciously new, and his father had always told him to follow a hunch.. damn his father!
[white]"Good day sir.. how can I help you?"[/white] From his horse Cao Ang slowly prodded his horse forward.. the towering beast a sign of intimidation.

Tori noticed the man approach him and stop him in the street, he looked at him with a confused look and tilted his head to the side. He wasn't the least bit intimidated by the stranger, though that was just Tori's personality anyway. "Greetings, I'm just waiting for my friend to finish selling his goods so I was just exploring the city in the mean time. Is there a problem sir?" Tori replied in a calm and gentle tone as not to seem rude or a threat to Cao Ang, Tori wasn't the type to go around causing trouble.
Tori smiled in a sweet manner knowing that if the man meant trouble then Itami would probably intervene in the situation. Tori awaited for the man to reply and made no rush to hurry along but instead stuck around and continued to bend his neck back so he could look up at Cao Ang. Tori probably looked a lot like a girl to the man though that never bothered Tori in the slightest since he was used to it.

A plausible story, but in these times that's all ever one heard.. could this person be trusted? Or was there something more mischievous about the boy's reasons for coming here. Ang continued to size the lad up, though in truth he almost looked like a delicate girl- it was not his judgment to pass on his upbringing however; no all that mattered was his reasons for being in his city.
A man who is trusted first is the man who dies first!
Who'd said that? Wasn't it someone important? Oh well, if there was trouble he was sure he could take care of it. [white]"Please, show me your companion, I hate to be a bother, but I have reason to suspect travelers for the actions of my father, lord Cao Cao. You must understand this, right?"[/white] Cao Ang left the saddle of his horse, hoisting about until he landed on his feet and then with little ceremony guided the young lad back in the direction he came.

Tori watched the man and nodded innocently as Cao Ang spoke. "I guess I can't blame you for being wary. Though I assure you I mean no harm to Lord Cao Cao. I only aim to learn and survive. I'll take you to my friend Itami." Tori spoke as he started to move back along the path he had taken only to pause a few steps on to see Cao Ang getting off the horse. He shrugged his shoulders and continued onwards.
Tori spotted Itami in the crowd and he seemed to be doing quite well at selling his goods to the people. "There he is, selling the dried fish." Tori spoke as he wandered up to Itami, the size difference was immense. Tori was tiny and Itami was huge with impressive muscles, not the sort of man you would want to have a fight with. "Itami, this man wants to check why we are here."
Itami looked at Tori then at Cao Ang. "What's the problem? Is it suddenly a crime for fishermen to sell their goods?" Itami growled loudly, he didn't like having people of high rank hanging around his stall since it drove customers away and ruined business.

A man who fit such a small boy, it was nearly comically obvious how these two would be companions.. Ang had seen the man before the boy, and wandered who would be such a man's partner. Even despite his image and growl, Cao Ang was not impressed- he'd fought and killed men that size all his life- it honestly didn't matter to him. Hell, the skinnier, smaller ones were sometimes the hardest- it was more painful to step on a flower rather than a rock.
Reaching behind him to grab a small draft of papers, Cao Ang began to scan down the list, his voice droned out from behind the stack. [white]"Itami and.. I'm sorry I didn't get your name young one?[/white] He looked up to the boy for a second and then continued scanning the list he'd produced. [white]"I simply need to check whether or not you've been here doing this before- for here in Chen Liu we like to know who comes and goes.. especially when they are making money."[/white]

Itami looked at the man and sighed. "I've been here before as a kid when I used to sell fish with my father. The Tsu family should be known by some in this area." Itami spoke making it clear that he was no stranger to the lands unlike Tori would was on his first visit. "I'm Tori of the Yomi family. This is my first time being here." Tori spoke as he stood close to Itami for comfort but the larger man shoved him away.
Itami sighed and placed a lid upon the barrel of dry fish to stop the flies getting at it. He then glanced at Tori and laid a hand on the boys hair and ruffled it a little. "Nowadays everyone needs money, though people also need some good food to store for the winters. Dried fish is perfect for such things." Itami spoke, his voice a little more calm than before as he rattled Tori's head about to amuse himself. Tori hated it but he didn't have the strength to make Itami stop.
