Name: Tu An
Age: 23
Gender: Male
Style: Canon, mentioned briefly in King Wutugu's bio on kongming.net
Personality: A very free speaking southern man, Tu An is a warrior by nature, or barbarian to the northern folk. Despite being quick to anger, he does not often let ridicule or petty insults get the better of him. Tu An is not know for his thinking, especially when the blood lust in combat takes over and this can either lead to him being isolated, or something great achieved. He knows very little of manners, however some southern customs and signals of respect he recognizes.
Appearance: A very hard faced looking man, it is often difficult to figure out which cogs are ticking in his mind until the last second. He stands at an impressive 6"2, with a broad, well defined posture. A beard is usually present, however Tu An never lets is grow past a certain length, it is usually left alone, to grow in anyway it pleases. He has dark brown hair with green eyes and somewhat bushy eyebrows, symptomatic of a southerner.
Armour: Tu An wears simple robe undergarments, nothing overt or flamboyant. His armor is made from Rattan, a lightweight yet very sturdy multi-piece suit. It provides much greater protection from arrows or bolts than standard armor and provides unpredicted flexibility. It is penetrable, mainly by piercing blows, however it also highly prone to flammable substances and needs to be well oiled and maintained at all times.
Weapon(s): Two Handed Sword
Tu An wields a finely crafted two handed sword, its length is standard however the blade is more slender than you would imagine a sword to be. His barbarian like background means he has trained with this weapon since birth. Two handed swords enable greater sweeping blows to be performed than other smaller blades and thus greater damage too. However they lack any real precision or speed and can be sometimes vulnerable to very close quarters.
History: Tu An has grown up as a Nanman, or barbarian and this is very much noticeable upon first glance. At the young age of 12 he was cast out from the tribe under false pretenses of treason, it is also down to his fathers standing that he was cast out and not executed on the spot. He has wandered slowly north ever since, enduring taunts and shady looks from townsfolk wherever he went. Aged 16 he entered a local youth tournament, encountering and besting a younger Jiang Wei in the process.
