Suki stood alone upon the small bridge that hung over a small pond filled with fish. Water lilies floated about on the surface of the water causing small ripples to distort the reflections made upon the water’s surface. The bridge had been painted red but in the water it only reflected the colour of blood from the countless wars and years of suffering. Suki seemed untouched by his thoughts; he had lost his will to care about lives long ago after having the world turn its back upon him. Why should he care anymore about the people around him since they never once showed pity to the young ‘princess’? He was mocked and looked down upon for being beautiful and for not being manly enough to carry the weight of his family upon his shoulders.
The only people who had showed any kindness to Suki had been Itami and Tori. The name Itami caused Suki to look up at the sky and frown with pain. He loved the man but he could never tell him that. Suki clutched at his chest as the pain got worse in his heart; he looked back down to the water below him. The reflection showed the pain in his own eyes and how the darkness desired to become light. Suki looked at the water with disgust and he dropped a rock into the water to banish his own image. How could he ever tell Itami how he felt, Itami would probably hate him if he ever knew how Suki really felt inside.
Suki sank to his knees and he sat upon the bridge holding his face in his hands to hide the tears he shed from the world. He didn’t want to show his weakness despite his emotions burning him on the inside. He was so lonely and it hurt. He just wanted to belong and to be accepted by people rather than be hated and chased away.

Chen Gong, Hou Cheng, and Song Xian walked through the city of Ru Nan, flanked by the Qing Spearmen. They were on a scouting mission disguised as a diplomatic meeting between the leaders of Ru Nan and Lu Bu. The party was taking a tour of the city when they came across a young woman crying. Chen Gong's hand flew up for the party to stop and watched the young woman for a bit.
Gong's experience soon noticed that it was not a woman, but a young man. He turned and spoke to his two warriors with a hushed tone.
"Leave this to me, I want to see what is wrong. Stay out of sight, but not out of reach."
With that said, the entourage veered off slowly and Chen Gong stepped over to the young man who wept on the bridge. He kneeled on one knee and touched the boy's back gently. His large cloak covered his entire body except for the outreached hand. His voice was calm and kind when he spoke gently to the youth.
"Why do you weep so?"

Suki didn't noticed the men nearby and failed to see the man approaching him until he heard the feet on the bridge. Suki lifted his head a little thinking maybe that either Tori or Itami had found him but instead saw a stranger he had never met. Suki lowered himself a little in a defensive stance since he was afraid of people he had never met before. His body tensed as the man touched his back and he stared in a threatening manner towards Chen Gong.
Suki never took kindly to people who was new to him, he never spoke to them unless shown that they could be trusted which was a difficult thing to get Suki to believe. He heard the man ask him why he was crying so Suki swiftly wiped away his tears and pretended that he hadn't been crying at all. Suki's body language spoke louder than any spoken words; it showed fear, loneliness and sadness. It was clear that Suki was also scared of the man and uncertain about speaking to him.

Chen Gong drew his hand back and examined Suki closely. He was like an abused dog, timid and afraid. It pulled at Gong's cruel heart and he frowned. The land's constant warfare cost many lives and much blood was spilled day by day. While normally that was exciting for Gong, here this boy was the face of the costs.
He sat down on the bridge in a cross legged fashion. He gave a small casual bow before continuing.
"I am Chen Gong, Prefect of Bei Hai and Advisor to Lu Bu. I noticed that you were crying and it saddens me to see such a beautiful person like you cast tears upon the ground. Where is your family? Why do you cry so bitterly here on this bridge?"

Suki watched Chen Gong's every move and his body remained tense and showed many warnings to the stranger. He didn't know whether to run or stay and see what the man wanted from him. He listened to Chen Gong speak before calming a little and lowering his tense shoulders.
"My name is Suki Kiya. I have no family as I was tossed out because of my beauty, this curse that I am forced to wear." Suki hissed as he bared his teeth a little with rage before having his lips relax over them again. "I was not crying." Suki growled as he continued to deny that he was upset and weeping. He denied his weakness and his emotions and continued to drive himself apart from the world.

Gong;s eyebrows rose as the small man displayed much hostility. Emotions of dominating Suki swirled in his mind, but he could not carry them out. He soon replied to the boy with a smooth tone laced with the rough words of an alpha.
"Your beauty is no curse. It is a luxury that few enjoy. Why, I met one such male not long ago. He was full of energy and very playful. Why don't you come with me? If you have been exiled then there is a place for you under me. I can provide you with a home within my palace and I'm sure you and Tori will get along once you get to know each other. What do you say, Suki?"
He ignored the denial about Suki crying, he didn't see the point in arguing over it. Gong knew that the boy would not last long in the Brutal regions of Ru Nan and certainly not around Shou Chun.

Suki continued to take a defensive stance, he was the omega in society yet he continued to show defiance towards everyone around him. He listened to Chen Gong speak and he didn't know what to say in reply until he heard Tori's name being mentioned. He knew Tori and he knew that Itami liked Tori more since the two usually hung around together. It was the reason why Suki had left his friends to wander alone outside the safe territory of Sun Ce's kingdom.
"I could use a place to rest. I have wandered far from where I'm supposed to be." Suki spoke in reply, he was rather exhausted and he knew the area was dangerous. He slowly lifted himself up from the ground and he stood watching the water below the bridge. His blue eyes seemed cold and desolate with an expression of pain to add to his withered spirit.

"Then let us go! You will be safe with us.", Gong said with a smile.
His entourage appeared and formed up around Gong and his new ward. They asked questions and Gong introduced them to their new companion. Soon, they were off to Bei Hai. Ru Nan was soon to be a place of War.

Suki watched as the other people showed up which caused the boy to become incredibly nervous again and he fell silent once more and was unable to speak. He stuck with the group but mainly by Chen Gong's side since he knew him best out of the crowd. He allowed them to take him to Bei Hai where he hoped to find Tori.
((I'm guessing we're making a new thread in Bei Hai now and continuing there))
