Zan Ten was embarking on a mission that he wouldn't have normally been on... infiltration.
He understood the importance of this mission, which of course is why he accepted it, but it seemed a little out of his range of skills. He was the learn from experience type, though Sa and Enma had thought up a brilliant plan for him... well mostly Enma... Sa isn't the brightest of figures.
He wore a long black cloak with his barbarian mask over his face, approaching the gates as a mysterious figure. "Hello there, good sirs." he spoke to the guards in a convincing, raspy voice, quite proud of his acting skills, "I have come to pay tribute to your fair leader, Wang Lang. If you would please let me through, I shall be very grateful."
The guard seemed suspicious at first but eventually let him in, after asking him huge amount of questions about what his business here was. As soon as he got within the walls of the city, he turned left into a dark alley. The alley seems deserted except for one shrivled old man who seemed to have been mugged. "Excuse me, are you alright?" Zan asked, a gentle tone in his usual teen-age voice. The old man only groaned in response, indictating to Zan that he was either asleep or unconsious. Zan shrugged and dismounted his horse, tying it to a wooden post, removing his mask and cloak as he did so.
"Alright, time to get this done." he said queitly to himself, checking that he had everthing. He was disguised as Wang Lang's advisor, Zi Liang and was carrying poison, destined for the city's food amd water supplies. He smiled as he walked out of the alley, everything hidden and the old man moved so that he did not see anything.
Zan moved towards the water supplies of the city, in the north-western corner.

It was a time that many would be drinking their fill of the finest wines that the residing Governor, Wang Lang, imported from the corners of the realm for all to enjoy. However, this did not forgive his neglegance of the tribes that caused villages surrounding his jurisdiction suffer many atrocities; turning a blind eye upon those of common status.
The figure had successfully infiltrated the city via disguise, one of a Minister within Wang's council; but why such a figure? Especially one placed in charge of the cities supplies, the Commisariat did not like blame coming his way and so made sure the supplies that were within the city to be idely patrolled. To leave them unattended was a fools game, thus, security was stepped up since he had taken this role within the city; if they were protected..gold would surely fall into his personal coffers!
However, it seemed the serpent had not fully educated himself on such matters; for not just anyone could waltz into the city and gain entrance to the food and water supplies of the city..the Minister was no fool! Especially when Wang Lang's reputation was becoming tarnished by his lack of interest in certain civil affairs. "Minister---.. Erm, are you okay? You do not seem to look like your usual self." One guard piped up as he lazily reclined against the wooden walls of the granary that was close to that of the aquaduct for the water supply. Another guard too took to acting as if he was not relaxing on duty. With spears in hand, the patrol returned to a strict regime, the mention of the Commisariat sparked all to make it seem they were not being lapse with their duties.Notices- Zan Ten must quickly explain himself before he is found out!
- 10 Guards patrol both the Granary & Aquaduct leading to the cities water supply!

Zan was ready for the obstacle that the guards posed. He was prepared, reciting several stories before he had set out, he now knew them all by heart. He quickly responded with his favourite one.
"Well of course I don't look like my normal self, I'm famished and my servants are missing! My wife is sick and dying, my children exhausted because of my lord's lack of interest in anyone but himself! You must understand what I mean, you who are of the common people, who I thought of as low-lives and scum. I understand the pain you feel now. Truly I do." Zan's face turned from an annoyed expression to one of great disgust and fury, "My lord must step up his game if he is to keep everyone happy, otherwise there will be a revolt on his hands! So please, let me past. Let my family live a little longer in this world!"
Zan really felt the words as they came out, feeling the anguish and pain. A small tear appeared out of the corner of his eye, dropping onto the earth in front of the guards, Zan's body now curled down in a bow of pleading. He started speak, his words lost in tears of fake yet convincing sadness. Even if this didn't work, he had his trusty Hide Piercer sword hidden on his belt, away from prying eyes yet easy to draw and kill the guards in one or two sweeps, especially from the angle.
Zan waited for the response...

The guards turned to each other, not sure whether to take it as insult of the Minister confessing he used to view them as scum.. One moved forward to inspect the expression, the face did not look like the Commisariat at all..it was too youthful and where was the beard?.. Nonetheless the lead of patrolling guards stood forward and saluted the man in disguise. "We understand and apologise for such questioning, Minister Zi, act quickly and unnoticed; we have seen nothing." The latter words were emphasised and pushed, the others nodding in agreement.
They understood the plights of the city under Wang Lang's neglect of certain civil areas, however they could not deny their superior to enter the supply buidling especially as it could three-fold upon them in later life. Swiftly the guards moved out of the way and took the paths to inspect the other areas of the city, allowing Zan Ten entrance to the granary and aquaduct...

Zan walked forward into the granary, a circular building with several workers lying about doing nothing in particular. As soon as they saw Zan they quickly ran to their positions, trying to look busy in the hopes that he did not report them and have them executed.
Zan ignored this, his eyes set on his target. He walked up to the head worker and asked if he could see the main supply. The worker agreed and set off, Zan behind him, slipping the poison from his sleeve, still keeping it out of sight.
As soon as they reached the main supply, Zan tripped the worker, knocking him unconsciuos. The worker would think that he tripped up by accident and Zan had ran off to get help. When the worker was unconscious and Zan had checked for witnesses, he poured the poison into the supply. This poison would, once eaten, make the consumer very, very ill, in the worst cases causing their insides to burn up. The very thought of it caused Zan the shiver in disgust.
On the way out of the granary he grabbed two untainted loafs of bread, making it look like he really had gone in there for food. He then made his way to the aqeduct, using the exact same method of infiltration.
The whole process took about two hours, the sun had nearly set in the sky. It was time to get out, and fast, the gates would close soon. He quickly and quietly made his way back to the dark alley, only to find the old man pointing a sword at his throat and threatening to kill him if he did not pay up. Quick as a flash, Zan grabbed the old man's wrist and wrenched upwards. An almighty crack was heard from the man's wrist yet the old man was too drunk to feel anything. His hand went limp and he dropped the sword. Zan kicked him back onto the pile of hay he had found him on and left him, donning his mask and cloak as he mounted his horse. The old man drifted off to sleep as Zan adjusted himself on his horse.
He rode for the gate, using the same raspy voice he had used earlier, exiting the city and feeling rather pleased with himself as he did so, a wide grin on his masked face.
