b]Name:[/b] Xiahou Xian
Age: 22
Gender: Male
Style: Custom
Residence:
Chen Liu, Zhong Yuan
Personality:
Xian is mostly apathetic, finding little in life interesting. A man of few words, Xian tends to speak quickly and precisely, trying to get his point across as simply and efficiently as possible. When Xian gives his word, He follows it even if it will lead to his death. Loyal to a fault, He has no morality, Nothing is impossible for him to do.
Appearance:
Xian has spiky grey / silver hair which hangs down into his eyes. Other then his grey eyes, little else can be seen of his face because of his mask, which he rarely, if ever, takes off. Standing at 6'1, Xian is a reasonably imposing figure, having a well-toned physique with several scars scattered about his arms that show his experience. Xian has several Taoist markings tattooed into his chest which he hides to try and forget a mistake he made in the past.
Armour:
Xian wears leather armor over his chest and legs, with leather boots. Over his chest, arms and legs Xian has Silk Wrappings to add a bit of extra protection. He has two shoulder pauldrons made of bronze, and a slik mask which covers the lower half of his face. He has the tattered remains of a crimson cloak hanging from his waist, held up by silk wrappings.
Weapon(s): Xian wields a pair of Katar, Usually carried on the back of his waist within easy reach. They have a roughly foot and a half blade jutting out, with two smaller, thinner blades off to the side, mounted on iron bracers which extend to his elbow and cover his hands.
Good against single opponents as it offers both hands for an attack, but against numerous opponents it can be a difficult weapon.
Xian also carries several throwing knives with him, no longer then his hand, which are good up to about 20 feet.
Only good against lightly armored opponents, anything thicker then leather or lightly padded armor and it won't penetrate.
History:
Xiahou Xian grew up in Chen Liu as a member of the Xiahou family, learning the proper ways to behave when in front of Court Officials, Influential Guests, and any one else noteworthy. As he grew, Xian was trained in martial arts as all Xiahou are with his weapon of choice, the Katar. As he aged, Xian grew increasingly bored with his life, and developed his apathetic outlook on life, seeing Death as an interesting fact. Shortly after turning seventeen Xian was approached by a hidden Taoist sect that worshipped Death as the road to the Tao, and was initiated into their ranks, where he was sent out to kill several people who were "ready" to find the Tao or the Way, and spent the next few years of his life among his "brothers." After being the cause of several dozens of deaths, Xian grew tired of the Monks who gave him his targets and their preaching and fanaticism and left, returning to his families house in Chen Liu for a while, before hearing about Cao Cao gathering men, and left to support his cousin.
