Name: Guo Jia, styled Fengxiao
Age: 30 (As of 200 AD)
Gender: Male
Style: Canon
Personality:
Fengxiao can be social able to an extent. His pet peeves are stupidity, ignorance, and rambling. He had enough of that from his previous lords and now makes his voice heard when things get out of hand. The young strategist doesn’t like to be crowded and prefers being out in the open. Being in a small room with all of Yuan Shao's court made his eyes and nose twitch with finger pads rotating around his head to relieve tension, especially when his talents weren't fully appreciated.
With the refined freedom he has compared to his childhood, Guo Jia may act a bit spontaneous: from smart ass comments to flirting, but that only occurs when he’s bored.
He will surely keep his ears open when someone intends to speak to him, being a keen listener when it comes to new information and planning missions. He has heard of the mishaps and betrayals in other kingdoms but Jia refuses for the same predicament to occur in his watch. He will prefer to stay behind the scenes and -plan- the battles versus actually -participating- in them, but he would gladly do so to defend his kingdom.
Appearance:
Guo Jia stands six foot tall with an average athletic build opposed to the skinny lanky one an average strategist would have. Long, straight black hair spouts off the top of his head and reaches his shoulders, going well with a telling pair of matching eyes. Slightly dark circles have developed under these eyes and they never leave no matter how much sleep he gets. His ears are hidden under his long hair and his nose and lips are of average shape and size. His face, however, lies a bit on the thin side.
He has very little fat but not much muscle. He could fit your athletic stick boy role pretty well. Fengxiao has long legs making up most of his height and a smaller torso. Regarding his attire, it is quite simple, consisting of white taotist robes with lengthy long sleeves and a matching white hat. However, he wouldn't mind to change the color of his clothes to fit better in the battlefield once he finds a lord worthy of serving.
Armour:
As mentioned before, Guo Jia prefers planning rather than fighting. However, when he is forced to charge down into the battlefield he wears nothing more than a simple leather jerkin under his snow white robes. While this doesn't offer much protection, it makes him able to move around the battlefield with haste.
Weapon(s):
Scimitar
+ Lighter when compared to your average long swords; their curved design is good for slashing opponents while riding a horse.
- Doesn't deal many "critical" hits.
Standard Longbow
+ Light, long range and speed.
- Pretty much useless when enemy is near.
History:
Guo Jia, styled Fengxiao, was born in Yangzhai, Yingchuan Commandery (Presently Yu County in Henan Province) in the year 170. He initially sought a position under Yuan Shao, the most powerful regional lord at that time, earning his respect rather quickly due his great intellect. However, he soon learned that his new lord tended to be a very indecisive man, lacking the required knowledge to fully exploit talented people's potentials.
Some time later Fengxiao would speak to some of Yuan Shao's advisors, Xin Ping and Guo Tu. "A wise man serves a wise lord. Lord Yuan Shao can be kind to men of talent but he does not know how to make full use of them and hesitates before making a decision. It would be hard to unify the land under his leadership. What do you think?" The other two men said, "Lord Yuan Shao has been kind to the world and many want to follow him in his quest. When he is the strongest lord, who else could we serve?" Disappointed and thinking that the warlord had little hope of achieving great things, Guo Jia left his service.
He settled at the nearby city of Xu Chang, living a normal citizen's life as he continued to wait for a lord worthy of serving. Apparently now he has found the major opportunity of searching with this new coalition against his previous lord, Yuan Shao. Showing great ability upon volunteering to help, he was assigned to Master Ling Shun Zhi as a subofficer and he aided the Allied Forces in the creation of the Western Front Battle's strategy. Fengxiao's quest is about to begin...
